The People have been duped. This is Tyranny.

I'm glad someone else can call it exactly what it is. This is tyranny in the same vein that out founders used the word.

Obama to sign health care reform into law, then promote it on the road
I don't understand.
If this was so wanted by the American People, why in the wide, wide, world of sports does he need to promote whats already law?

Also, what in the world happened to focusing "like a laser beam" on jobs?

"We must take back the Republican Party, pure and simple."

Glitch FTW! It is the only viable vehicle for a conservative *revolution.*

Hasn't anyone wondered why Harry Reid is 100% in favor of the 3rd party candidate in Nevada getting on the ballot.

I tend to be a bit cynical when I think of the typical voter...how many will forget this mess before November? Andy Stern will have his army of thugs, with very deep pockets and a open line of communications to the White House, out running mobile re-education camps (Good Morning America, every major newspaper in the country, Oprah, etc).

Me too.
Optimism starts to fade...
All that left over stimulus money is going to be spent and fast, between now and November.
This whole mess is making me sick.

obama needs to go on the road so he can justify to himself that he did the right thing by trying to impress upon the people that he did it for them.

What gas prices? The media isn't covering that. Why should they? It's not praise for the courageous Glorious Leader. ( yeah, if the leg tingles...it's THAT bad ) Propaganda/Pravda is not just spin & lies, it's also selective reporting. It's not that no one knew of the Gulags in the Soviet Union, it's that they didn't talk about it.

If you could demolish the Republican & Democrat Parties, and re-shuffle the members into different interest groups, then new parties would work. In the short term, without that drastic a change, having a "tea-party" party or supporting an existing third party just gives the bad guys a win.

So....if you dont' want a$$holes in charge, you have to be choosy. You also have to let the Rep. leadership know that if they don't go conservative and just are going to be Dem-lite, you aren't going to give them any money, will fight their choices, and if worst comes to worst, will denounce them to the new keepers of the public virtue. ( not sure what page that's on in which bill...... but I'm sure there is provision, the President promised.)

Hey! I have to take back some bad attitude about New York! They've come up with a way to ease the budget woes....

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/2010/03/23/2010-03 -23_state_dems_have_a_dope_budget_idea.html

( 89% yea in the poll, I see)
While "medical pot" is probably mostly about getting high, it does have vital use in Chemo treatment. If you can't keep down the anti-nausea pills, they can't work. If a pipe of weed lets you eat & live, what's the harm?

I don't have a real problem with people doing intoxicants, as long as they don't drive when they are less able, and don't beat people up because they have lost their inhibitions and let their natural A$$hole come out. Besides, pot smokers drive real slow, I saw it in a movie.

I think I see a source of borrowing that the author of this article missed. Your income tax refund. New York already is borrowing it's subjects...er, citizens tax return for...a while.

Of course, that will lead to a major dip in the economy as all that lovely spending planned for your returns just, doesn't, happen. But that's ok. Might be the desired effect. ( if you are a paranoid type who thinks that this admin. want to impose fascist/progressive rule..... how silly. it's not like they took over a couple of car companies or anything like that....)

So...debt is now 83% of GDP? ooops.

last week i pulled it up that i was supposed to get my return back on monday, yesterday i pulled it up that i was gonna get it back today and today it says i won't see it till the 6th of april now. something is terribly amiss. besides getting screwed out of 250 bucks, now he's holding on to my return for a couple more weeks. so much for transparency.
