Here's the love of my life, Kathleen--one fiery, black-Irish/French, redhead.

10 years since our first date! And once she let me into her life, I never let go.

We actually knew each other in the early 80's but didn't connect until we were each in our thirties.

We've helped get her two delinquent kids through High School.

Buried both of our fathers. Saved a house from going to the county. Raised and buried many pets. And much, much more.

It sure has been nice having her around! Here's to another 10 years, dear.

Good going, Hexinator! Your story is similar to me and my wife, Laurie, except that we have been together thirty years (most of them are married years). Isn't it great to have a loving, caring partner?

Thanks all!

Not married yet, but we'll keep you posted if we ever do get hitched. It's kind of nice being single together. She has her things, I have mine. We split expenses at each bill. We're monogamous, cohabitant, and committed. She's been through divorce so we've played it safe. Her kids introduce me as her boyfriend, which I like rather than step-dad, even though they love me and we have been together over twice as long as she and he were together. etc.

congrats, it's not always easy to stay together when there is a piece of metal to bind ya much less with out one. just went past year 28 two weeks ago so i do know. heres to the next ten.
