Obama's Approval Rating Lowest Yet, Congress' Declines

They MUST pass Health Care Reform because it's the only way for Democrats to stay in power. They know they are going to lose big in 2010, but they are hoping that this loss will be merely a skirmish in the larger war. Once the largest entitlement in US history is on the books and the zero liability, recipient class voter is firmly entrenched, they will regain and keep power forever.

This is the end game. Only a fool believes that "health care reform" has anything to do with health care.

Vote the bums out and hold your representatives accountable.

Romanticizing domestic terrorism places one in an extremely marginalized position, IMHO.

Wow!!! Really!!! A six percent drop is now a plummet. Here is some interesting Gallup information.

I'd say that an 80% approve to a 48% disapprove would be a plummet.

What would you say about a 39-16% slide by congress in less than a year?

Would that be a "plummet"?

It all depends on who you ask, how you asked the question, and who was motivated to respond. If I show a poll that says 98% of Tea Party people are fed up with Obama... does it really make it a viable FACT. Nope. Its all smoke and mirror lead by the poparazzi. Vote them all out. Randomly pick people from the phonebook to senate / house to be REPRESENTATIVES and put in a 3 term limit max.

You say you want a Revolution.....

Revolution, you say?

I'll go you one better:

Just cut off ALL electricity for one year. Let the chips fall where they may.

After approximately 250-300 million people die off, the people who can actually feed themselves off the land will form the new government.

We're only 9 meals away from complete anarchy.

I probably couldn't live off the land, but I can live off the land lubbers.

I'll start with the PETA people. They are low in fat and easy to catch.

I bet they taste like free range chicken.

I think the number is closer to a week, and I will cite the attempted evacuation of New Orleans as the supporting evidence.

The difference is that Obama is failing so early in his first term. Check the number of the first 16 months *THEN* compare to see how he is doing!

"There Are No Rules Here ... We Make Them Up As We Go Along"

Let's see now... When King George was making up the rules as he went along the founders of our country called that tyranny. Is it any wonder their approval ratings are taking a dump?

Unless your bike runs on moonshine, they tax your gas.

Don't worry about the health care debate, though, that has indirect costs to you that if they are clever enough, you won't see. ( you have to deduce them from your ever greater lack of money to buy stuff...... assuming you aren't one of the evil rich )

When they do the cap & tax bill though, that will probably end up with you paying $5-9 a gallon. You understand, that's just to influence your decision making so that you use less energy to save the polar bears. Aren't they cute? So fluffy, and cute. And eating your neighbor.

Sorry, The phone lines are busy and the people making far more than I and the only ones in the nation that can legally accept bribes aren't listening. ( and I can't afford to bribe them....how about you? )

Now, while I could run for office, borrowing lots of money I can't pay back, unless I win & put bribe money to the task, I don't see that many would follow my lead in old fashioned liberal thinking. Today the ideologies of marx & Engels, are the dominant ones in D.C. even though the bulk of citizens favor a more rational approach.

Having a group of "special advisers" that are not vetted by congress, who have powers not legally granted by the Constitution, is a very bad thing.

Many of them profess a love for the teachings of mass murderer's Mao, Fidel, Che, and Joe. Not too happy making.

Have no doubt, the "health care" debate is about power. Raw power. It's intent from the beginning is to eliminate private insurance companies and replace them with a tax payer funded "insurance" plan that gives the power of the purse to govt. bureaucrats and control over what a doctor or hospital gets paid. That in turn determines the care you will receive, since the hospital will not get paid and ( later, quietly ) be punished for non approved actions. If you are really bored, read the Senate bill, or just the amendments proposed by the Speaker's cabal.

In turn the Cap & Trade legislation will take vast sums of money from you, and let wall street play with it and suck it away into the hands of rich people ( and pension funds, and you can even gamble with it as well ) who do nothing to earn it except gamble for it. ( which does, to be fair require them to put up front money of their own to play ) The President himself in a candid moment allows that your utility bills and energy costs will soar as your money is taxed away ....

All with the excuse of a religious cult of evil humanity vs. the glory of Mother Nature...Gaia herself, in the struggle to Save The Planet from mankind's sins. Exemplified by an invisible, odorless gas you exhale. Or Unobtanium if you are watching Avatar.

It's in Foreign Relations I worry about the Prez's poll ratings.

His actions to abandon our allies ( I'll leave it to others to explore his antipathy toward England ( see absent Daddy issues ) and Israel ( nope, not touching that one ) and obsession towards approval from the Muslim world ( which he will not get, leading to greater torment in his self image...or am I reading the pathology wrong? ) leave us in a precarious world.

If, as the news & comments from foreign leaders show, Obama, hence America, is shown as weak and manipulatable, people around the world will suffer at the hands of evil dudes. If we are perceived as unwilling to fight for others freedoms or our own, those freedoms will be stolen. Who else will stop them? China? Cuba? Haiti?

There is much concern that Israel, getting the clear message that the U.S. would rather join Europe in condemnation of Israel, while ignoring the depredations of kleptocratic palestinian cult/power groups, will be forced to believe it has no choice but to defend it's existence with force.

If we follow Europe's growing antisemitism, they will have no doubt, and no choice that they stand alone and in desperation, may act with projected violence against the military/religious dictatorship in Iran, ( financier & suppliers of weapons to Hamas & Hezbollah ) before being vaporized as promised by the murderer in the members only jacket.

Possible vote on Health Care today. I hope it goes the way the President's NCAA #1 pick went... down in the lost column.

Sorry Kansas, no offense. (Funny, that appears to be what your problem was).

http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/03/aristotles_ warning.html

Demagogues are always dividing the city into two, and waging war against the rich.}

Alexis de Tocqueville warned that although democratic communities "have a natural taste for freedom," their passion for equality is "ardent, insatiable, incessant, and invincible." And nothing, says Tocqueville, can compete with a force of that magnitude:

All men and all powers seeking to cope with this irresistible passion will be overthrown and destroyed by it. In our age freedom cannot be established without it, and despotism itself cannot reign without its support.
