Heck, I'm up too late. Can't sleep. Now I've lost an hour according to the local authorities. Anyone else sprung forward? "Jackal and Armadillo" by Robert Earl Keen is playing. |

Yea, it pissed me off. Actually, I intentionally left the clocks on the bike "wrong" during the winter so it would be one less thing to deal with today. Glad it paid off! |

We (as a nation, or a government, or whatever) need to go half an hour and be done with it, never change it again. Not like we're building a war effort in factories by lamplight anymore. And they seem to do just fine in Hawaii these days...with no "savings" time. |

I am listening to excellent radio. Who once said "Hearing, the ear, is the truest of the senses"? I'd rather be blind than deaf. |

My bio-clock will be messed up for at least two weeks. It doesn't matter which way we set the clock. It's always a trauma. I will survive. |

Couple years ago I was in the ER during the "fall back" transition and had two different tests run. Paperwork showed the first test at 0146 followed by the second at 0123. Turns out I ate too much at a hog roast. Stomach lining stretched, and began leaking bile which caused a variety of allergic reactions. Gluttony IS dangerous! |

Very true Froggy but that Awful person was inspired by the following Franklin Ballyhoo and tomfoolery Early to bed, and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise", anonymously published a letter suggesting that Parisians economize on candles by rising earlier to use morning sunlight.[16] This 1784 satire proposed taxing shutters, rationing candles, and waking the public by ringing church bells and firing cannons at sunrise |

"No MLK day either... inmates in pink underwear... Go Cardinals!" They have MLK day now, Big brother threatened to with hold highway funds if they didn't come around. The Cardinals should be wearing the pink underwear, they made it to the superbowl once, now it's back to their losing ways... GO STEELERS! |
