As my darling wife says (translated from French) F*** knows where we're going, but we're getting there fast. Picture the scene, a routine traffic stop, when suddenly... "Hey what's those white crystals in that bag?" "It's only heroin officer." "Well ok then, if it'd been salt you'd have been in big trouble boy." |

That is just a stupied bill. I could see requiring a nutricion lable though. (Sorry for the spelling my droid doesn't have spell check) |

We cook with low salt, and add it to our food on the table. It's interesting to read sodium content on packaging. We don't buy stuff that contains 50% USRDA in one serving. Salt is necessary. It also depends on your activity level. When I get back from Hot Yoga, and have sweated out about a gallon of juice, I crave salt like the salt monster form old StarTrek. I would rather see legislation requiring nutrition information on menus, giving those who are concerned a choice, than broad swath banning. |

Let's make blood tests and blood pressure tests mandatory. You need to have a certain body mass index in order to get your driver's license - or better yet, your cable or satellite service is discontinued if you fail. Some of this stuff is just... amazing |

It's like every lawyer who becomes a legislator needs to make a quota of law in order to justify their employment. |

They want to do that with soda and candy as well. So much for "The land of the free". I should be able to eat and drink what ever the hell I want! |

My county, right outside NYC banned trans fats, and requires all chain food establishments to post calorie contents right on the menus. |

Get used to this folks. We will see more and more of this "healthy lifestyle" legislation. I wonder how many restaurants will go out of business. I wonder how many employees will be out of work as a result. When the government gives you free stuff, the payment for that free stuff is personal liberty. I would really like to hear from a liberal a defense of this bill. Really, let's hear it. |

The douche-canoe that came up with this bill should be ran out of his office on a rail. Unbelievable. I wonder how many taxpayer dollars were wasted on this bill? He should have to pay that back. |

Treat him like a garden slug and cover him with copious amounts of salt and hope he dries up. |

We are a nation at war, the economy is in shambles, terrorism (both foreign and domestic), kids can't read, drugs pouring over our boarders, street crime, political corruption.... This is what these goldbrickers are concerned with? Throw them out. |

Or that you are a grown ass man and can control the amount of salt you consume your own damned self. I think I've got a dingle berry or two. There should be a law requiring the state to make sure I wipe good. |
