A light grip helps a lot. Try relaxing your hands. Really. Otherwise, many like Buell traction grips. had a hard time remembering the name of them... (Message edited by fahren on March 05, 2010) |

The Buell Traction grips are pretty nice. They're the most comfortable grips I've used on any of my Buells. My wife really likes them on her Ss, too. |

Traction is what I use and they are great and cheap. Buy 4 or 5 pair and squirrel them away. |

Traction grips are excellent, and at 16.00 or so you can not go wrong. Have them on my '07 XB9R and like them enough I bought a back up pair after HD killed Buell P&A. |

I've used what I think is called "Iso-Grips" on my XB- bought a pair at closeout price, then found that they were meant for the larger diameter HD bars, crap, but got to use the L grip on the R side, comfy!! I've got big hands too, know what you're lookin for- see if my description is right with a search. Otherwise, I've got some buddies at Dual Sport Touring that I'm sure can help... www.DualSportTouring.com Megan and Francois are the shiznit! Gearhead's gearheads, fo sho... Tell 'em Brad sentcha. |

I have traction grips – Big difference from the stock ones. that contour provides an even, solid feel. |

Xb12s_streetdemon i have those on my modern triumph and like them . they definately help with the buzzy vibes . i have mild to moderate carpal tunnel . those and the traction grips are the only ergonomic grips i've seen . hey FB are there any more traction grips in HD inventory to be had ? if so i'd buy a couple more sets . i won't snag that set you have left . hopefully my 2 sets already ordered are in the mail . BMW GS grips. I have big hands and have used them for years. The shape seems to fit my hand nicely without being to bulky. G |

Tennis racket grip tape on stock grips. Adds cushion, you can wrap once or twice or 3x depending on how big your paws are, and they're cheap and easy to replace if they start to show wear. |

Ratbuell: That's a great idea! I have been thinking about getting grips myself but I like the the width or dia of the stock grips, one good wrap with tennis tape would be perfect! Thanks for the idea! |

I spent more time then I want to admit choosing a good set for my KDX-200 enduro bike restore, and after getting them (I won't say which or where from) *really* liked them. It didn't take long to decide that when my traction grips (which I like) on the XB wear out, I'm replacing them with these (which I like better). Naturally, a week later, I was over on the American Sportbike site and I saw those exact grips for sale... So I know where I am getting my next set... |
