"Right Handed Love" by Smokin Dave and the Premo Dopes. Proper soundtrack for this thread. I'm a righty, somewhat ambi. At first glance, everybody thinks I'm a lefty. |

Right handed here. Cowboy, I've attempted to learn to shoot left handed because my left eye is dominant... but no amount of range time ever got me comfortable shooting left handed. I haven't ever seen one of the 'cripple stocks' mentioned earlier but I'm certain it would be more natural than trying to switch shoulders. |

Right, but the peguins in convent school in Great Britain made me eat with my left. |

Dennis, can't imagine shooting left-eyed - bolt action is "wrong-sided" - semi-auto, right-side eject. The deflector that the M-16, AR15 has on the right side at least kept the brass outta your FACE! For hunting I dont worry about it and just use my right eye and clamp the left closed down hard when hunting cause its usually one shot only. For qualifying w/ the M-16 in the Army I actually taped a patch over my left eye to keep me from peeking with the left. I made a world of difference. I was only marksman in Basic, after I got to "permanent party" someone told me about the tape/patch thing and I was expert the rest of my 3 years. I always kinda laughed ( mean I know) at the lefties that had the brass deflector fall off in the middle of qualifying and had to deal with the hot brass hitting them in the face or going down the back of their neck. |

Right handed / left-eye dominant. I just close my left eye when I shoot and it all works out ok. |

Right dexter Left sinister Gotta love latin/greek roots. That misnomer there is why the left hand of the devil. It is why russian women wear their wedding band on their right hand. Aparently in the west women wear it on the left hand because it has a shorter distance to the heart, and is supposed to remind them of their heart of the marriage. Cultural superstitions both ways |

rite.....write.....right. My mother, brother, and one son lefty. For a long time they made it hard to be right at the dinner table. I will fall down if trying to swing a bat or golf club lefty. Can't throw, bowl, or eat left, without someone getting hurt. |

Mostly right. In street hockey I shoot left. At work I shovel asphalt left handed. I can write backwards with my left hand really well. I suspect that if I used my left more often, I would find that I'm ambidextrous. |

I hate playing golf when there is a lefty in the group in front of me....... It always looks like the SOB is going to be hitting their ball back towards me. |

Right handed, but eat with fork in left to avoid the repeated fork-knife-fork swap when eating steak, mainly on account of I'm lazy. |
