You're right, I was unaware of that. That said I must say I am of the opinion that any kind of anonymity leads people to be far more brazen on the internet than they would be in "real" life. It is easy to type tough sounding b.s. when you will never see the other person or risk any type of repercussions to what you say. (like a bloody nose or lawsuit) There have been discussion of this in the media regarding this and the lack of civility related to it. If what you say is true this Rocketman should not only be kicked off of this venue but turned in to the proper people to be dealt with appropriately. Was this Rocketmans complete profile online? If so it should be no problem to deal with him. But for sure, no one needs that kind of crap in their life. | ||

So many people completely missed W.Clintons's point with that speech, I suppose because they didn't have a 12 year old boy for training. See it from Billy's perspective. It's a motorcycle forum not a political one, though I admit it is exasperatingly difficult to tell the difference at times. I get where both Spidey & FerrisvB are coming from. I'm sick to f*** of all the political sh** too, especially as it concerns me not, but this is the Quickboard where one can post the subject of ones desire. (more or less) Some indication in the thread title of political content would be viewed as a thoughtful kindness to others who couldn't give a ratsass about democrats or republicans. Bjbauer, Spidey's been here a long time & everybody who's been here a while knows who he is. Ferris von Bueller has been here a couple of years & I've no idea who he is. That's not criticism, just stating a fact. I agree it's easier to be brave anonymously but if you want to stalk Spidey his number is in the BRAN he's not hiding. Ferris if you're scared of being stalked, I suggest you either give up annoying & insulting other people, or at least be big enough to show yourself, put up or shut up, if you like.. There is significantly less anonymity here than other places. I don't hide. Then again, I don't expect folks to track down my mother. I don't think keeping most of your information off your profile is a sign of weakness or cowardice. It's just common sense.
