I hope the thread topic is descriptive enough so no one is tricked into opening a quasi-political thread. I wouldn't want anyone to become offended.

MSNBC's Ed Schultz http://washingtontimes.com/weblogs/watercooler/201 0/jan/16/ed-schultz-id-cheat-keep-brown-winning/

I listen to his radio show. His point is to get the voters off their asses to make sure the Dems win in Mass.

Ironic, considering that's how Bush won the 2000 and 2004 elections.

With the crap spewing from the mouths of the right wing puppets on the radio and T.V, you really have no right to point fingers.
Last time I checked, all these guys are entertainers. If you choose to follow them and take what they say as gospel, boy you really are lost.

Wow. That is all sorts of messed up. I feel sorry for the liberals having this guy speak for them.

And on the other side:

Odd that Schultz and Stewart are always "entertainers" and Rush and Hannity are "philosophical leaders".

The difference is that if Rush made these statements REPUBLICANS would be screaming bloody murder right along with Democrats.

Schultz is a tool and his statements should be decried by Democrats and Republicans alike.

Shultz just wants to get people out and vote for whats rightfully a democrat seat. The citizens of mass owe it to Teddy to keep that position blue. After all the hard work and dignity Teddy upheld nows not the time throw it away. Im sorry I just get too choked up thinking about it.

I'm tired of all the Bush stole the 2000 election crap. Newspapers and media from around the world, after examining the evidence, found that Bush won. Only the most hard-core leftists still cling to the false notion it was stolen. I put them in the same camp as 911 conspiracy fruitcakes.

That is not what ES said. He proposed willful fraud to achieve political goals. Those are HIS words. Why are some of you such prisoners of your emotions that you embrace that which does not exist?

Then listen to Coakley saying that if you don't believe in abortions you just shouldn't work in an ER.

And there is no question that Ed Shultz is openly advocating election fraud. Not surprising at all if you have ever heard him on Air America. What I do find surprising is that he is now a host on MSNBC. Then again maybe that isn't so surprising.

It is ironic that they named their radio show "Air America" after a movie that was about corruption and illegal arms dealing under the watchful eye of the government. Somehow it seems fitting.

Shultz just wants to get people out and vote for whats rightfully a democrat seat. Using that logic John McCain should be the President.
The citizens of mass owe it to Teddy to keep that position blue. The PEOPLE diserve someone who represents there views.
With the election being so close I have to think Teddy wasn't doing his job.

Dumb-ass Patrick Kennedy doesn't even know the name of the candidate he's supporting. He keeps calling her Marcia. He's almost as stupid as Teddy. Teddy has the excuse of being dead though.

The whole blame Bush thing has also worn way too thin. They own all three branches of government and are failing. Time to blame themselves.

The STATE isn't blue. The people are either red or blue (liberal or conservative) depending upon the prevailing political beliefs. We don't have titles passed from generation to generation. If the PEOPLE vote in Brown, how does that slight Ted Kennedy?

The people don't like what Ted was doing. His death gave the people the opportunity to change the course of Mass and the US.

I do find it hilarious to use the term "choked up just thinking about it" to describe Ted Kennedy:

Kennedy should have been convicted of manslaughter. Mary Jo Kopechne died of asphyxiation, not of drowning. She survived in an air pocket and could have been conceivably rescued if it were not for the cowardice and criminal negligence of Kennedy.

But I digress.....

I await for the voters of Massachusetts to do the right thing tomorrow. In both senses of the word. : )

Can any of you stick to the topic in this thread? Can't say it surprises me.

Your right. GB didn't win the election with voter fraud. They had the Supreme Court steal it for him. My bad.

Ummm. The court simply prevented Al from stealing the election. You might happen to recall that GWB actually had more votes than Al on every recount, even the ones done by the press months later.

Back you your world of green skies and pink oceans.

"You might happen to recall that GWB actually had more votes than Al on every recount, even the ones done by the press months later."

Yes, he even won by a count greater than the margin of ACORN (that's the number of votes generated by dead people who somehow still managed to get out there and vote for Al)

One think I never understood about that whole recount process. Every count of the votes went for Bush. Somehow if on count number 4 they had managed to swing it to Gore that would somehow have been the golden count that is correct? Since when is 1 out of 4 a winner?

The real issue:

"Yet even in the bluest state, it appears Kennedy’s quest for universal health care has fallen out of favor, with 51 percent of voters saying they oppose the “national near-universal health-care package” and 61 percent saying they believe the government cannot afford to pay for it."

ummmmm.....Rocketsprink. Isn't the topic about Ed Schultz and the Mass election? You had an outburst of Bush Derangement Syndrome in your very next sentence. : ) Such histrionics are perplexing but understandable when one realizes that the Left has no logical argument for their positions.

You don't understand how the electoral process works. You continue to count the vote until the outcome you want occurs.

There is no possible way the people could have elected GWB, therefore, the vote count MUST be incorrect. Count them again.

Does that mean that 10% want it even though they think we can't pay for it? This is why we are doomed.
