Done, and Done, at this point in the game a letter to your rep isnt gonna cut it. Send em mail, clog the servers, apparently the vote on this is scheduled for 1201 monday morning, when well pretty much everybody is asleep (or asleep at the wheel) I prefaced the letter with DESPITE and listed the things they claim they have done for our district/ state; then hit the caps lock.... kept it simple. YOU VOTE FOR THIS BILL; I WILL VOTE YOU OUT. AND ENCOURAGE MY FRIENDS AND SOCIAL NETWORK TO DO THE SAME. (twitter that bi@tch) They will get the same slathering for the Immigration amnesty bill. | ||

Nevrenuf, one of the big problems is that people that vote ( the few that do) think that other people's reps are the problem and mine are the good guys,so you vote your guy back in, and so does the next guy, the few good guys still enable the bad guys to do the damage that they do. public service should not be a career! vote them all out, it's probably too late for my once great state but you may be able to save your own. i've already let my rep in fl know that if he votes for it i will do everything in my power to vote him out. i'm thinking about having one of those full rear window truck decals made up to just say "no more incumbents" "vote them all out" or something to that effect. | ||

As I have mentioned before. Obama is your enemy. Always has been, always will be. Well, I'm doing better financially since Obama took office. My 401K has increased quite a bit. My taxes haven't been raised. The industry I work in has rehired thousands who were laid off. My phone isn't tapped and my computer messages aren't being watched and my constitutional rights have been returned to me. All things considered, Obama isn't my enemy. But again, I don't own a health insurance company that's been fleecing Americans for decades.} | ||

What was Health Care reform supposed to do? It was supposed to lower the cost of care, Provide improved access to medical services....(show me the flocks of patients that were refused care due to lack of coverage) It was directed to increase the entitlement programs of Medicare / Medicaid and it was to a "Immediate National Crisis" The pork bill at current addresses none of those tenents.... solves none of the, but it does add new layers of beuracracy to healthcare administration and insurance that will INHIBIT future patient care And its such a good d-damn priority that none of the 'benefits' of the programs take affect for four years, but your taxes are affected immediately. Read the bill, you legislator representative surely didnt. | ||

What worries me is that my main job is giving people advise in the Internal Medicine/Family practice field. That includes MANY senior citizens. Here is my concern, instead of helping people, will I be told I need to offer them either a blue pill or a red pill. This one will kill you faster than the other. Your choice. Because as it is now, I try to give them the best advice to help keep them alive. Are you a doctor? None of the doctors that I know share your concerns. But if you ask them what they think of the health insurance companies, you will find out that greater than 70% of the health care dollars are going to the insurance companies, and not to anyone actually providing any health care. A redistribution of the money away from the insurance industry and towards the health care providers would be the best thing that can happen to health care in the US. Where is the big money lobbying coming from that opposes health care reform?...The insurance comapnies.} | ||

Diablo1-----Where are you getting your numbers ? And anytime I here redistribution of money used to describe something. I question who is doing the redistributing. You actually trust politicians ? Really. Ok think about it this way. In a few years we get a right wing Admin and House, Senate. You want them involved in your life. It won`t always be the side you want in power. You should be questioning any more power that you give them. because the other side will be controlling your life in a few years. I want less government in my life. I don`t trust them. | ||
