So Loki is the motor, right? I just don't see it in print anywhere. Was that a pre-production name? Just curious

"Oh no you di'nt!" lol

I never named my cars, but I have named my bikes. My '03 XL1200S was named Cruel Intentions. If you google "Cruel Intentions Sportster", you'll find a 20 page thread about her and how she intended to keep me broke lol. Actually I named her that because riding her in a bad way felt so goood. My dear S2 is named Priscilla, because I have a love affair of Latin women, and she's just like one- Beautiful, classy, stubborn, high maintence, only worth the effort when you ride her : D.

I was only half-awake this morning and it literally "came to me". My Reactor Yellow 2000 M2 is named "Eve". It has multiple personalities(Old movie - "The Three faces of Eve"), can also be short for evil, and it's my first bike(The biblical first ever woman). I would have never picked that name but like I said it just came to me.

I think naming a bike is like referring to yourself in the third person.. awkward

I got to unwrap my 1125R on the crate when she arrived.
As I pulled off the protective "placenta" and saw the "huge chest and low-cut sweater" front of the 1125, all I could say was "Hello Loretta".

it stuck...

I name everything that needs ownership. We have Ronin(1125r) Zed(zepphyr550) X(Lightning X1) Mistress F(F100) and Val(Valiant Pacer).
My first bike was Tilly-short for Matilda(Honda cd250). Only our ex Xr6 ute was un-named because it had no permanent place in our home. It didn't stay long.
Hell, even the plants here get named!!!
