We're in. Or at least we've bought a banquet ticket. If we're unable to go, we'll donate it to a local who needs it.

Thanks for getting this done, Steve!

Hey, don't thank me. I just try and keep the web stuff going : )

It's been a true team effort between the 3 of us, with a supporting cast from the rest of the Brewcity Thunderbikes.

This will be that last "nag" post you'll get from me. I may bump threads back to the top of a page, but no more nagging from me. I will just add some information as it becomes available.
I will just write a few things now in hopes to light a fire under the asses of those that are still undecided or figure they'll wait till the last second, or plan on showing up hoping to get in the Banquet.

In order to get into the Banquet/Concert you must purchase the Banquet Package BEFORE the Event. We will not be selling the Packages AT Homecoming. It may sound selfish, but I plan on enjoying Homecoming this coming year. That will not include standing outside the banquet waiting for straggles to come and pay. We WILL have wristbands for and a list of those that have paid. The dinner, bar and concert are for those that have paid. It would not be fair to let people that haven't paid in. Sorry but that's the was it has to be.

The main point to getting a date set so early was to give people ample time to get time off work and plan for Homecoming.
You can still purchase the Package after the December 28th, but we really need people to step up to make our initial 150, or we will lose everything.

ALSO, keep in mind there is a legal holding capacity for the hall. It is more than the 300 dinners we started with as we just needed a starting point for Paypal. However, and I will find out soon what it is, there is a finite number of seats available, and once we hit that number, that's it. You're left out.

So long story short:
-Get you Banquet Package early!!

-BANQUET PACKAGE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT HOMECOMING

-No one will be allowed at the Banquet without a wristband

-There is a certain number of seat available, once sold out, you're S.O.L.

-DON'T MISS THIS EVENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I missed last year as I was out of town, and I am still P.O'd. You never know what can/will happen.

Let me add to what Rocco has said. We do not as of yet have a cut off date for this Dinner/concert package. BUT there will be. At the end of this month I will have a date that will be set by Alpine Valley Resort because they need to know how many they have to prepare for. Usually they have a cut off about 3 week's prior to the Dinner. I'll know all of this at the end of the month as Rocco and I have one more meeting with them this month. So if your up in the air on this and you snooze. You may miss out on one of the best Buell owners experiences you will ever have while being a owner of your Buell. How do I know ????? I've been to 10 of them and it has defined what being a buell owner is. Don't miss this.

Thanks

Seriously,
These guys have already put in a lot of effort to get this going. It is now up to US to get the tickets bought so the banquet hall can be held for us.
Without this happening, I fear Homecoming will cease to exist. That would be a damn shame.

Daves, I agree 100% !!!

Rocco, Steve, & Dana have went all out to get together a 2010 Buell Homecoming that has something for everybody! This coming homecoming is going to be the best ever!!! And I feel that it's going to all come together with all the Buell riders signing up and paying for the banquet.

so with that being said: EVERYBODY who already hasn't signed-up, get it done this week so we can have a Buell homecoming to remember!}

I want to buy a dinner reservation for a friend as a Christmas present. How do I pay for it on my PayPal and have it be in his name?

Question: Will vendors be invited to set up their wares for sale during Homecoming?

I'd like to save on shipping and maybe bring home a couple of goodies like a LOUD muffler and air intake, helmet, lights etc.... I'd be a such a sucker for almost anything "Buellish" if I could walk away with it.

I don't know how the other sponsors feel, but for me I really have no interest in setting up a booth to advertise and selling on the spot.

Don't get me wrong, I want to get my name out there!!

But.... I personally want to just have a good time, meet you guys, ride good roads and enjoy the times!

I want it to be like a vacation :-)

BUT for anyone who would like to purchase a light, I will set aside some time to meet up and deliver the light. Just email me prior to Homecoming for details
( including extra savings info )
But I doubt I'll bring many extra lights to just sell on the spot that haven't been pre-ordered.

I just don't want to be locked down to sitting at a booth :-)
but setting out a banner with some business cards would be neat.

Robert,

We didn't ask for anyone to have a booth. This is about fun...bench racing, talk'n smack and making friends. If anyone has things to sell do as you would like. Theres no HD to hold you back this time. If you'd like to pass some biz cards at the Dinner??? Its incouraged, its you guys that will help the future. Please though this isn't a swap meet. Its not the place to load up your car or truck with your old parts to sell in the parking lot. Alpine Valley probably wouldn't care for that I'd think.

Please take note though. You may not sell copy infringed items at this event. It will not be tolerated. Its our butts not yours's.

That's what I figured. I was just voicing my opinion on a booth idea to maybe put the ashes out, so to speak.

Although, a did have a good idea!

Just have a table set up in the corner for any sponsors to set a stack of cards on or a brochure or anything of that nature. No one sitting at the table, just a " take it if you want it" thing.

I'm going to just have a damn good time! And it's looking like it will be just that!!!

And to anyone who has not bought a ticket.... GO NOW!! Buy 1,2,4 or a dozen!! :-)
