Harley-Davidson has Buell obligations that extend nearly 15 years into the future.
Buell did not "cease to exist", they ceased production. |

So Mark, have you ever built your own motorcycle? Or do you just cheap-shot those who DIY something different.
I ask because I have a project which has taken two years and a lot of money to see what my own two hands can do. It's quite a challenge, and requires much discipline keeping your idea from being polluted by other eyes.
If you've got a spare 15k and 1-2 years, give it a try. |

Yes I have, in answer to your question, and collaborated on others that used about 8 off the shelf bike parts with the rest of it all custom fab, and yes they were different, and they took a lot of time, and I'm here just for fun too. |

Now, I'm a long hair, and 10,000 naked hippies can't be all bad, but it was a little overwhelming seeing all those hairs in the water flowing over my body. High traffic, low flow, pretty sc(h)arry.

Gotcha! There's where I was confused. "Harley Davidson has Buell obligations" leads me to believe HD is providing parts and service to Buell owners, not Buell.
I'm just a computer geek, so I don't pretend to know about anything that doesn't plug into a wall or run on a battery. |
