OK I'll be the first to say it, yes I was dragged against my will to see that new twilight movie "new moon" the only cool part about the movie was seeing Bella on the back of a black XB12S for about 30 seconds. Although the sound the used for the motorcycle didn't sound anything like mine, at least it was a Buell.

Admit it and say you saw the movie as well. I'm not the only guy who was dragged to the god awful chick flick.

You know how to get out it...

Toilet

I've been referring to twilight as Toilet

The Toilet books, The Toilet movies, toilet etc...

Strangely enough my wife is going with girlfriends tonight to see Toilet..

I would rather watch a pack of violently disturbed mangy dogs mount Micheal Jackson's lifeless body for an hour. What a garbage addition to the commercial fiction craze that has been pumped into the system to pacify our continually stupider youth a few hours at a time.

well this is sort of a repost but also a confirmation.

there has got to be someone else who has seen it. I saw other guys with their wives at that movie. although 95% of the theatre was packed with teenage girls.

the Buell also popped a wheelie in the movie. It started bella's adrenaline junkie stint that she had in the movie.

Why are you guys picking on a movie for 12 year old girls?
( I admit I'm more than a little tired of angsty young vampire stories, but this crap comes in waves. Prepare for misunderstood werewolf movies. I have read the cgi werewolves in this one are the worst ever. )

That photo is AWESOME. My roommate went and saw it twice already, and she also had "Twilight" screening parties at our house on Thursday and Saturday. Meanwhile, I was thinking to myself, "I only know of one daywalking vampire, and he'd off all of those prettyboy suckheads." Lo and behold, I find this. Too cool.

FYI, while they were having their Twilight party, I was out in the garage watching "Let the Right One In" while installing the K&N intake on my Mustang. If you have to watch a vampire movie, at least make it a good one.

Oh yeah, at least there were some cute women over at the house during this Twilight-a-thon. My roommate tells me I'm getting set up soon. Could some good actually come from that movie? :-)

My wife and daughter dragged me and my son-in-law to it over the weekend. I tried 'toilet'(the original version, where you can't get off from it, and likely will have to go back soon and often). FAIL.

As for fifteen year-olds.....ah....I believe the average age of the women in that theater was thirty! Hundreds of them! I told my wife I felt like I was at a Tupperware Party. I later modified that to a bridal shower. I shudder! The estrogen was pouring out everytime one of those skinny muscle dudes took off their shirt. NOT one incident of a female doing the same(muscles or not).

I saw about six men among two hundred women, all of us had our leashes on and heads down. Was it a good movie? Yeah, but kinda like going bowling on ladies night!

That "screenshot" is fantastic!

Blade wouldn't even waste his time on those pansy-ass, Aeropostale-model yuppie "vampires". But if he did, good lord, it'd be a massacre. Blade 2 was my favorite. Those mutated vamps were the creepiest I've ever seen.

I admit, I watched the first movie out of sheer curiosity. It was okay, but terribly slow and ridiculously overdramatic. Most of the time, it was just a bunch of closeup headshots of the two looking at one another like they were constipated. Honestly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer does drama better.

My wife read the book (again, out of sheer curiosity). She says it was written for the simple-minded. Harry Potter has WAY more depth, and it's for a younger age bracket.

"Twilight" is a book/movie for teenage girls that think they know what the perfect guy would be, and have never picked up a book before.

Wait, what? So the brand name that HOG dropped just last month is featured in a movie that had a $150M opening weekend? Which also happens to have great audience demographics?

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I think the entire HOG board should put off any plans to so much as repaint their offices...

Twilight KILLED a perfectly good out in the middle of nowhere town that never had any traffic and damn minimal law enforcement, that is surrounded by some great roads. Forks Washington, its not the end of the world,... but you can see it from there.
And a slap of all insults., the paved the twelve miles out to the lighthouse because the damn tourists were complaining about the 'bumpy' ride. I carry a couple of stakes in the saddle bags, theyre for the tent, but in a pinch I could kill a teen emo vampire if I needed too.

Good Lord Froggy, just because someone mentions something that was in another post doesn't make it worthy of you always saying "repost". You do a ton to help out this community, including myself on a couple of occasions which I a very grateful for, but damn if you don't look like a tool when you post things like that...

Downloaded the Audio book out of curiosity.
Really annoying... I wanted to strangle Bella every time she corrected someone about her name "It's Bella..." aggghhh.
Luckily the bootleg copy that I downloaded from Limewire turned to unintelligible garble about halfway through... though it wasn't much difference.

Gentlemen, I'm watching this piece of trash right now, sitting on the sofa with my lady, and writing a ride report. All of a sudden, the scene with the Buell comes up and I flip out. I grab the remote and rewind, then go slowly through the scene.

Then I began a 5-minute monologue about dudes who ride black Buells and holla' at chicks walking by. Then she asked if she could restart the movie.

Still worth it.
