I just cracked open my first London Brown Ale homebrew! That explains your unintelligible post on the Buell protest thread. |

GECIO has been an incredible partner and will be again. The Buell Racing experience has been great for GEICO and I, for one, won't be leaving . . . in fact, I insured ANOTHER car with them today! |

That's just awesome. I thought I saw an RR an ebay the other day. It's not there now. Hope a racer didn't divest just a little too early. |

That would have been an XBRR. Not an 1125RR. |

This should work out, gives the dealers time to sell out the existing inventory. Nothing like building up demand with an empty pipe line to fill when Erik is aloud to sell street bikes again. |

Obviously the only people that really know anything aren't talking, but let's not get carried away with "Race bikes only, Buell is back to it's roots, only a matter of time until street bikes come back." If I recall the story correctly, Buell only started building street bikes because the race business wasn't what it needed to be to keep the project off the ground - he started building street bikes because he had to. Crossing my fingers that something neat comes down the pike for the masses... |

Sounds exciting. I hope he has some great sponsors. I wonder if they are going to be working out of the R and D building or the production building? REX |

Now how do we have to cajoul or ruff up at the AMA to get the Rooster Green Lighted again? Race it all you want, I already have the light/plate kit for it |

This is very interesting news. I am curious to see how the details will work out, but knowing EB is free from H-D and building bikes again is outstanding! On another note, am I the only one who is outraged by this statement from Flickinger: “Harley-Davidson and the Buell Motorcycle Company will always be proud of their affiliation with Erik, and we wish him well in this new endeavor to support Buell racers.” What the hell- Buell Motorcycle Company's "affiliation" with Erik Buell... give me a friggin' break. Erik Buell was, is, and will always BE the Buell Motorcycle Company. What is the deal with this Flickinger... I mean, really- the nerve of this character. |

What else could he say if pressed to make a statement? Not defending him, but seriously, there's not much else to say. Throw out the blanket statement and look to the future. At least, that's what it sounds like to me. |

Ya think HD decision to let Erik go and still use the 1125 platform has anything to do with the backlash HD has been getting??? I hope soo.. Don't let this news stop you from writing letters and clogging up forums! |

Just a thought... I haven't looked at AMA rules so i don't know, but there WERE 2010 models produced, so that alone should be enough to not have an impact on whether or not they will be aloud to race. (Message edited by americanmadexb on November 20, 2009) |

I agree. And for all of you that have been writing letters, posting links, and researching... Do yourself a favor tonight... Grab a couple of brews and open up your DVRs and watch a couple of AMA Sportbike races... that's how I am celebrating tonight. |

Think how much nicer it will be for Erik to deal with Racers instead of all the crap associated with a regular consumer product. No EPA, no HD marketing, no retail whiners. Just crabby bitchy racers like Slaughter!

Please. Please make this happen. Please succeed at this. Please provide us a street version. Please. I don't want Buell to end. |
