I don't think the I6 is going to have a big impact on motorcycling. The CBX and the KZ1300 didn't do very well, although the CBX now has a following.

That wheelbase looks looooong.

It is a concept bike, looks like that will be the engine when they re-do the K12LT in 2011? then maybe in the S & GT...

"Give me forty acres and I'll turn this bike around."

Why don't they just put an extended swingarm on it too.

Ha! Yeah, it'll wind up with 5 headlights, 3 on one side, 2 on the other, a square, a trapezoid, a round, a triangular, and an egg shape.

That's the R1200CL. They don't make it anymore.

That concept was more to show off the engine than what the final touring model will look like. I suspect the final bike will have the engine almost completely hidden in plastic.

I'm also expecting it to have more luxury features than you ever thought imaginable on two wheels (at a staggering price to match).

Be interesting to see what happens. Right now, I have the last of the "Flying Bricks." When the new tourer comes out, the old K "Flying Brick" will be no more. Shame, it was a good, solid, bulletproof platform for an all-around, general purpose motorcycle. There aren't enough of those being built anymore.

PS: There's something very "H.R. Giger" about that BMW concept bike... or is it just me?

Don't laugh BMW will be sold at H-D dealers sooner than you think.

Didn't Benelli do a 6 a couple years ago?

I believe they did one recently but couldn't find a pic

The styling designer of the CL should be taken out back and beaten to death with wooden spoons.

How the hell THAT thing got through committee I'll never know.

Thank David Robb for it. If anyone can build an uglier bike than Pierre Terblanche, it's David Robb.
