Does anyone have a recommendation for a good jacket that doesn't ride up or is longer in the back? I'm looking for a textile one. |

Textile - I have a Tourmaster Jett 2 that I like very much. Removeable liner, lots of zippers for ventilation, straps, CE armor on the shoulders and elbows, padded back. |

I really like my Tourmaster Transition 2 jacket. Venting could be better but I plan on picking up a ventilated jacket for summers. |

Check out the cortech hrx series 2. I really like what I've read on them online and such. I'm also happy with cortech build quality based on my crash test of the hrx series 2 pants. |

The Buell adventure jacket is nice also if you can find one. That's what I wore this season, except when it was too hot and I wore the Buell mesh. |

Google motorcycle riding coats, and click on the one that has leather in its name. It looks like a cruiser store, but it has other coats and merchandise available. Prices are unbelievable. Xelement Extreme Vega and Fieldsheer Crossroads 2. |

I have and really like my NJK Leathers jacket. I've got a leather, textile, and mesh from them. Top notch stuff! NJK Leathers--Textile Jackets I have worn them with textile pants, jeans, and leather pants. They cover well and don't ride up. You can't beat the price! |

For $150, if it sucks, you haven't lost much. |

I bought my first gear leather jacket used after the previous owner went down. Then I went down in it and it is still in one piece. Liner on the inside even has a neck collar built in for cold weather riding. |

That njk deal is hard to beat. I may have to give their stuff a try with that deal. |

Vanson is great but fits like shit if you aren't the right size. I have Alpinestars and Icon that fit nice! |

Another vote here for the Tourmaster Transition. I think the only one they're selling now is the Transition 2 (don't know what the difference is?) I've had my transition for a couple years now and I like it for year round riding. With the liner it's warm enough for down to about 40* temps, and without the liner I've ridden in temps up to 105* with no major complaints. It gets hot fast of course while I'm not moving, but any jacket will do that. I like the pockets in the jacket too.. there aren't a lot of them but they are all in the right place and seem to be perfectly sized for anything I carry with me. The liner has pockets identical to the jacket too, so you won't lose storage by using the liner. |

Aerostich Darien Jacket. And spend a little extra for the ELECTRIC liner. Best jacket out there for hardcore, all weather, all season riders, bar none. http://www.aerostich.com/aerostich-suits/darien/da rien-jacket.html (Message edited by jaimec on November 02, 2009) |

I've got both the Buell adventure and Buell bolt functional jackets in inventory. Check 'em out on Buell site. Good stuff. T |

I have an Ixon Sismic which I'm really impressed with. Textile, vented with removable waterproof liner (which pretty much is) and removable winter thermal liner. Great all rounder and nicely made for the $$$. |

Tourmaster Transition 2 for the winter and Intake Air 2 for summer. They both come with the extra zipper for the pants and don't ride up. |

+1 on the Bolt jacket. Fits me (and I'm goofy-shaped!) like a glove. I've had good luck with both fitment and durability with just about anything from Joe Rocket (they make the Bolt). Jeremy - don't have a blue one in L, do you? I got myself the black/gray, but that's the only color we got in... 'course, now I have to go to my locker. I'm second-guessing myself as to L or XL. Hell, if you've got my size in the gray, I would take a spare |
