well, I found a dealer that has a few of the black Buell/Vanson leather jackets. They have always been too rich for my blood, but I have always wanted one.
My question was more "should I expect them to be deeply discounted to get rid of them? They havent marked them down yet. |

I just saw Casey at the shop on Saturday. I remembered thinking how much I enjoy seeing a nice tattoo.
Luckily, I kept my wits about me and didn't say anything. Just kept on fixing my nachos and trying not to stare.  |

We just received a $3000 order from Buells newest clothing vendor... (sucks to be them, they did'nt even get their product in stores before this happened). I told my dealer that I'd be willing to take all that crap off their hands for free so they didn't have to pay someone to do it.
The Vansons, everything. Let me just get that out of your way and then you'd have room for a whole section of those killer handlebar tassels that are all the rage! You know, real biker stuff. |

We're not blowing anything out or anything, esp. since we got our new t-shirt order about a day AFTER the news about Buell shutting down production, so it's all brand new styles.
But as always, our selection is available online for perusal and purchase.
There are some sales on some of the older stock with spotty sizes.
If we have anything left after the holidays (which it doesn't look like we will) we will probably mark some down. But as far as I know, what we have left is all we're getting.

The dealer we purchased our bikes from had all Buell clothing at 75% off. I got 3 T-shirts and my hubby got 2. A bitter sweet deal tho. |

so today I visit my local Buell dealer, who has 3 marked-down XBs
on the floor & has [on rare occasion] had req'd parts in stock[!]
on the clearance rack are 4 ea $60 ladies' Vanson mesh jackets
[$300 retail] & assorted $5 T-shirts [approx $25 retail] -
those are 80% markdowns
I grab 1 ea of 2 T styles [ignoring $5 Ulyssees Ts] & hit the register
while waiting for the incompetent MotoRags gal to take my $10,
I spied the very same range of recently-offered old-style
Buell stickers displayed in posts above, ranging from $3-$10 retail
natch, I request markdowns, so I can spread the wealth
at upcoming monthly ASBN meet [now certain to be a wake!]
their response?
"those are sure to be collectables, so they're staying at full retail"
with business decision-making like that,
no wonder I've NEVER met a Bueller who'd bought their new Buell there...... |
