I have this info posted under the "OCTOBER 26TH RIDE THREAD" but felt I should post another so it's readily visible to everyone. To save my fingers - I am just going to copy and paste my posts from that thread. "OK .. Here is the scoop on the food front. It's covered. Gus from Gus's Drive-In and Mark from Roma's have both graciously agreed to help out. Gus will be DONATING broasted chicken - if needed, up to 2 cases (that's 128 pieces per case) Mark from Roma's has the capability to do over 20 pies at a time and he is going to provide 40 large pies at $5.00 per. So total cost for Monday's lunch will be roughly $400 - works out to be $4 a person if we have 100 people. ($200 for the pies and $200 for bottled water and soda) I am thinking if people will donate $5 to $10 each, (just in case we don't reach 100 people) we should be covered. I figure any extra funds can buy a T-shirt (maybe we can get Mr. Buell to sign each) for both Gus's Drive-In and Roma's Pizza as a thank you - Together they are donating over $400 worth of food, that is a pretty big deal these days - but that does show the support Buell gets from the local community !! I will be kicking in some $$ shortly, but I do have a question. What if it rains? Is Buell allowing us to bring the food inside? Or is it a parking lot deal? Reason I ask is because if it does rain, I will be driving and can bring 2 EZ-Up's to put some food under. Some one in the "know" let me know. Thanks | ||

Rocco - I am going to say 'yes' .. food will most likely be in the cafeteria .. I am waiting for a call from Kim to confirm this and a few other things I am working on (will tell later if it works out) I will post for sure as soon as I talk with the powers that be. | ||

Just a suggestion. We should let the employee's eat first. It was one of the things we did in the Marine Corps. The private always eats first when you are in the field and the general "Should" eat last. Since we are doing this for them, it would be nice to make sure they are taken care of first..... just a suggestion. | ||
