Although the future is uncertain I, like many, am optimistic that we haven't seen the last of the innovative, fine handling, character filled motorcycles from East Troy. So if there is a new company, what kind of motorcycles would you like to see produced in the future? What do you think you would you like to buy? Don't be afraid to think outside the square, and don't forget about features you would or wouldn't like, and accessories and options (Without H-D's restrictions there are a lot of possibilities!) cheers, chili |

300 lb. motorcycle 75 hp. street legal. Would be a killer corner carver. I'd leave the details to Erik and the Elves. |

How about a ST that can compete with Yamaha or Kawi and Honda? But be in the same price range with comparable tech? Or am I asking to much? |

I'd like to see what Erik would come up with if he had to build something to compete with the Kawasaki Concours 14. Love to see it keep a v-twin, have some of the bells and whistles (electric windshield), but hopefully weight less. |

I'm with Gent Jon. sub 300 wet 50+ HP single cyl thin short wheel base aggressive, sporty position. If somebody doesn't not make it, I will. Like this ol' boy, made his own: (I would probably start with fo fiddy MXer.)

Nice ideas I have three in mind... 1. Open-class, all out, fire-breathing race-track-refugee sportsbike, with every trick Erik and the Elves can come up with. Low weight, high horsepower, great handling and awesone brakes. Something that feels light and even slightly intimidating, but all comes together at the track when pushed hard. Really aggressive, distinctive styling that looks fast even when it's parked. Something eligble for WSBK, most likely a 1200cc v-twin. Selectable traction control so a mediocre rider like me can actually ride it would probably be good. It wouldn't be a great street bike, but awesome for sunday mornings and track days. 2. Lucifer's Streetfighter - A naked bike so mean it looks like it could bite you. MX handlebars, upright seating position for urban assault work and *really* twisty roads. Centralised mass so it *feels* light and is easy to throw around. Light, fast, almost twitchy steering. Let's say a V-twin between 900 and 1300cc, 120+ rwhp, and not too refined so that when it hits about 4000 or 5000rpm and the front wheel gets light, you get a grin you can't stop . As one concession to practicality it would have a pillion seat so you could share the madness 3. Something like Jon said - An incredibly small, incredibly light, modern cafe racer. 75/300 sounds good, though less hp would be ok with me, could be a single or a small twin. A giant killer with incredible corner speed in the right hands. You'd have to work hard to be really fast, but incredibly rewarding riding as well you can, rather than being intimidated by the bike. In reality I'd probably buy 2 or 3, but 1 would really have to strike a nerve with me to buy one. |

That KTM single is sexy! I thought there'd be a few sport touring fans. "The 1125CR is pretty much the bike I wanted." I like the CR, but more aggressive looks would work for me. |

I'd like to see what Mr Buell could come up with using the Triumph 1050 motor... I'm absolutely loving my new Uly, but, I also owned a Tiger 1050 for 9000 miles, and, that is absolutely the best motor to ever land on two wheels. I keep thinking how amazing the Uly would be with the 1050. |

A Buell supermoto.....300lbs..65-80 hp..Great brakes...Full adjustable suspension...& a strong enough subframe to attach luggage. Also an extra set of wheels with knobbies. |

a Uly with a 1125 based engine and a tourer based on that Uly with refinements accordingly then I would only have to go to My (Buell) dealer and ponder. |

I personally would like to see an updated take on the S2, S2T, and S1. Keeping the overall styling of the bikes in tact with a modern twist, and an obvious motor upgrade! I'd also be very interested in a compact around town 500cc single corner carver! That KTM powered one is heading in the right direction! |

As Court keeps telling us, the possibilities are endless. What if....it was everything that Erik Buell would do with a clean slate: light, super agile, sexy, and here is some evocative ad copy....The World's Fastest Indian. |

I am all for a modern sport tourer that will compare with a concours 14 and a FJR. Too bad Buell never got a chance to fully utilize the 1125r powerplant and expand it to other models. |

I would like a Lightning Citycross sb9sx without the fuel in the frame design...so it looks more naked...please. Oh and a wider range of translucent colours (even if they have to slip on over a white/black fuel tank beneath with gap between for show-through graphics? |
