Ok granted this has been a fiew tumultious weeks with the advent of Buell's demise. It's not like it wasn't on life support with the new racer's propensoty for problems, especially in this volital economy, but we all knew we were on slippery ground, come'on, Honda, Kawi, yamaha, and the others had deep pockets, Mel's Hole, deep pockets. I LOVED my Cyclone and it was much modified, and a force to be reconed with in the twisties when the Jap squid showed up, more than a bunch of times this 57 year old goat wopped some but on the outings. But Guys and Girls......it's going to do no good to up and sell off your Buell's now with the recent news.....there are already going to be hords bailing off the Buell, but you know as well as I that they were not infected with the "Passion", Buell passion. they would do the same with anything, But for us who Believe in Buell.....let things cool a bit before jumpin boat. Just my two cent insight.

<--- this guy isn't. My Buell will be buried with me in my grave. I thought about trading it in with the cut in cost that recently have occured. I then decided not to. I made that mistake with a pickup truck I had and miss it terribly now....

Things will get better I hope.

i don't think that many people are balling on Buell. if anything there are more people buying Buells. the dealers are selling them like crazy right now. if i had the money right now our stable would have a new one sitting in it also.

Not selling Lil' Blackie.

Not now.

Not ever.

Simple as that.

Going in my living room when I'm too old to throw a leg over her, that's for sure.

Well I am going to disagree with that comment. Ive scoured the internet to find a cheap X1 in the mix and no luck. I think for the most part everyone is holding onto their prized possessions. Heck even the Buells I am seeing on ebay are dealer bike. I have found minimal used Buells for sale thus far. }

I hope some one in the near future bails off of a late model 12XT. I still want one.

As I told my family and sportbike friends, I will get an engineering degree, a welder and a motorcycle building for dummies and rebuild my XB9R or cobble together a frankenstein bike before I'll EVER ride another bike. Buell for life, no matter the cost or hassle. If ya don't believe me, look at mods list...I spent more customizing than the bike cost/possibly worth. Brand loyalty FTW. Ford, Buell, Bud Light!

You could always build one of these...

...at the expense of a great amount of time and money...
