+1 Crusty
This would be an easy trip in a car or truck.
To me showing up is important, but I want the Elves to SEE what they built is WHY I am there.

I've got room for people to crash too, garage also. Depending on how many reply to this...I live in a one bedroom apt. There is a futon, and floor space. As for my work schedule, I work 3rd shift, 11pm-7am. I have to work that weekend, but I have off the 26th. So if any of you want to take me up on my offer, you'll be at my place alone until I get off work Monday morning. I don't give a shat, you can keep my Black Lab company. So there's a futon, floor space, and since I won't be sleeping in my bed, that will be open, I'll throw on fresh sheets of course.

PM me if you're interested.

I hope you guys and gals get a good turn out for this MOMENTOUS occasion!

I had been planning on shipping my Mutant Buell over for the 30th anniversary and riding to the factory to meet Erik and lots of Buellers!

I am very sad about the recent events with America's best small sports motorcycle company! My Uly and modified S3/S1/XB will now be family heir looms!

Have a safe trip everyone and if you get to meet Erik tell him his Australian Buell enthusiasts hearts are with him in this most terrible time for him and the entire Buell team.

Respect
Jodie

If they are anything like his rides to the drag strip I'll meet you in ET...

Hey, I even got a thumbs up from Paul James 2 weeks ago on my route for the slimey crud run! So Tony, as you always like to say.... Suck my... You know the rest!

I'm done for the year freezing my ass off on "fun" rides. So if the weather cooperates(40F+ and NOT raining) I'll lead a short ride through the kettle moraine area.

You also have to keep in mind leaves are falling. Which makes thing quite slippery.

Our normal Southern Kettle Moraine ride(AKA the "Dave Ride") does end in East Troy(Gus's to be eaxct)

I hope to make it... I would have to fly up, borrow a bike and fly back... Mark has offered the use of his Bolt from Columbus.

But that might be a long, cold ride for my "lived in Florida too long" body.

It wasn't the route as much as the chaos that ensued...

Do you know if they'll be giving a little tour or anything?

Considering there may not be too many more opportunities to see the factory in the near future...

I can't make it the 26th, but I have the week off to do some remodeling so I plan to head up to the factory on the 19th. Does anyone know if the Company Store is open, or is that just for Homecoming? I'd rather spend my money there than at the local dealers who really don't care about or understand the Buell experience.

I'll work my way on being there.

What do you think the chances of NO snow in the North East part of the US will be that time of year?

The company store is only open one day a week. If you'd like I can check on access for the 26th.

Still trying to get up there for the 26th. Due to time constraints I will have to fly in on Sun and fly out on Tues IF I can make this happen.

Anyone know if Hal's still rents Buells?? Anyone in the Milwaukee area wanna loan me a Buell for a day??
