I bought my first Buell in April 2005. It was a brand new 2003 Firebolt. I was just coming out of a really black time in my life. I couldn't afford it, but I bought the bike anyway.

Over the next couple years I made tons of new friends and had more fun than I thought I could ever have. I slowly personalized my Firebolt, and rode it every chance I got.

At Homecoming 2007, I was lucky enough to win a raffle at Hals. The raffle was for a spot on a pit crew for the MotoST race at Road America. So I met Paul James, Mike Kirkpatrick, and all the other folks from James Gang and I had a blast helping them in the pits.

I got hooked on Buell racing. I came up to help Paul and Mike at Blackhawk Farms every chance I could, and went to as many MotoST and MotoGT races I could to help fly the Buell flag. Along the way I've met so many great people, made so many friends. I just can't believe all this is happening.

I bought a new 2008 1125R back in July. So now I have two Buells in the garage. I have a closet full of Buell t-shirts. A set of Buell Vanson leathers. A Buell helmet. Buell gloves. Buell boots. Buell posters on the wall.

I'm sitting here in absolute shock. It seems like all the good times I have had over the last four years are being swept away. My friends that gave me so much joy, the great family atmosphere at the racetracks, the friends that lent a sympathetic ear when I thought I was going to lose my job.

It seems like it's all crumbling. Am I overreacting? This has all meant so much to me......I just can't stand it. This is awful.

I just want all of you to know that you are still all my friends. BadWeb has to stay together. If we lose BadWeb too, then it's really done.

Erik looked so crushed in that video. I'm permanently PISSED OFF at the dirty s.o.b.s that did this. I hope with all my heart that he can resurrect Buell....but to be honest, if he can't or doesn't want to you will never hear a bad word escape my lips about him. I can't imagine how he feels, having it all snatched away like this.

God bless Buell, and God bless BadWeb.

Keep me on your friend list Pete. I think more people feel like you do more than you know. Including myself.

I understand. When I bought my sportster in 1989, there were a few, hardy crazed enthusiasts and they welcomed me into a strange sort of club/family. That went away and I found it again in Buellers.

I, too, feel, well, abandoned.

If this were a kung fu movie I'd be training for vengeance.

Hang in there Tom- bless your heart, you're one of the very last Pegasus award recipients.

Know that doing so, as a dealer, is one of the most important and honorable things you have ever done. Kudos.

Hold fast as the firestorm of anger and vitriol towards HD continues. You'll know what to do as things develop.

Go drink a beer or three with Jeremy and the rest of your motley crewe, and hash things out. Pour some 'shine on some crappy HD trinkets and burn 'em, as a sacrifice to the gods of speed.

My $.02 for you, Tom. Keep that chin up!

I may not be famous, but more than a few know me by my bike, and in some of the more out of the way places than I would ever expect. That bike has become a huge part of who I am, and what I love to do.

I have met more people and had such great times since I got my first Buell...which as many of you know was a Blast...I rode the wheels off that bike. I made the decision a few weeks ago to upgrade to a Lightning...I don't regret it one bit.

The new bike is absolutely the finest street bike I have ever owned...I handles and stops better than most of the race bikes I rode years ago. Everywhere I go, people gather around it. That is the kind of excitement that Buell brings...

I have two regrets...one is that I traded in my old Blast...now I wish I could have kept it...the other is that I didn't buy the Lightning first.

Anyways...I like so many others have Buell in my blood...I will never sell "Jezebel"..and I will ride her proudly...

It's funny...the same day Buell gets crushed and ground into the dirt like some insect....I got a package from my dealer with a nice framed picture of me with my new bike...It's on the wall of my office now.

I am one of the few that has one of the "Erik and the 200" shirts...I will no longer wear it...it will get a framed display in my den...

I have personally met only a handful of BadWeb people, but everyone that I have met have been great people, inspired by a common interest and a shared enthusiasm for the only american sport bike. The folks I have not yet met are also a great group....I am proud to be a part of it and hope to be a part of it in the future.

I see great support from the dealers and personnel that use this board, and my experiences with them, their support and professional attention prove that the cream always rises to the top.

Where ever this all goes...I know that as a group, we can all continue to enjoy our now rare and fabulous machines...

My wife always promised that we would get another bike when the time was right. I sold the previous two bikes so we could have some cash for a down payment on a house. That was 12 years before I bought the M2. The test rides were numerous and choosing the right bike was hard to do but finding the right fit was worth it.

The M2 is the perfect fit for us. It now has a S3T fairing and hardbags. I have personalized the M2 and the wife can ride on the back with ease. I bought the M2 used but made it mine. It is the main source of my stress relief after long days at the hospital.

My wife and I courted on a motorcycle. I will continue to ride the M2 and will always be thankful to the Buell team for their efforts to make my day better.

The sorrow just makes it that much sweeter when Erik DOES manage to pull out of the tailspin. When it happens, it's gonna' ROCK, and H-D will be left with their thumbs up their asses wondering why their sales are still floundering.
