I was stabbed in the face in the 7th grade ( side of the nose with a pencil, tossed by a moron ) so we are going to ban pencils?

as suggested above, collect knife, call parent, explain the poloicy, parrents correct the ( if it was not an honest mistake by the nipper ) child

problem solved, non issue

second occourrence, issue..

Westpoint called, they have no intentions of allowing this to stop or impede his admission process.

Maybe, just maybe having an emergency kit in your car/truck is a SMART idea, and how many times has that meant needing to cut something? often enough to put a knife in there. (duh)
