The Heretic looks neat at first glance, but on closer inspection it looks cluttered and heavy. It purports to be a "performance" bike, but it uses a backbone cradle frame (which I saw referred to as a "trellis" frame "a la Ducati" in one magazine article--some journalists just make it up, I guess).

I'd rather have either one of these:

Vincent Irving

A modern build of a classic Vincent, using original drawings but modern materials--the "Vincent Irving" from Australia

Kootenay, nice find!
I'd LOVE to have that!
Best looking bike I've seen in years!

"LUXURY AND PERFORMANCE UNITE"

Doesn't seem like either to me.

It might be a "LUXURY" to own a $60k bike thats about it.

That Vincent is gorgeous. But it looks like you'd need nards of steel to ride it. Ouch!

I saw an earlier version of the Ecosse on display in Daytona in about 2003. It is gorgeous to look at. I studied it for quite some time. The guy behind it used to work for Confederate. IIRC they got some gov't grants to start up production (in Denver, CO).

Confederate bikes are a lot more for the money than the ecosse. Confederate are gorgeous, these are too monster looking for the money they are asking.

I don't know why but I like the Yamaha! Do something w/that exhaust though. Looks like it would be fun as all get out to ride.

Moxnix, you've got it! THAT'S the one I'd have, if I had stupid money to throw away. Sexier than all the others combined, and still cheaper than most of the above mentioned.

The exhaust system on the track bike (note the numbers on the "headlight") looks better for sure. But it is not a muffler. Some would be okay with using that on the street but it would not be legal any place that I know of.

I'm sure it wouldn't be legal for street use in France either.
