I bought a used Penske shock from Liberty HD and BUELL (a board sponsor) in the Classifieds. Through a series of unfortunate events, the first of which being my 2 digit IQ, I led Anthony Caligiuri into believing he didn't send me what I thought I was getting. After a quick call to Penske (Ohhhh... so that IS the rebound adjusment knob...) I realized Anthony jumped through hoops of fire over a shark cage to make me satisfied and happy with my purchase. He offered to refund all or part of my money, or in his words, "Anything to make you happy, Dan".

It would make me happy if Mr Caligiuri would accept my sheepish apology. I want everyone to know how well he treated a guy he never met or talked to before.

Thanks Anthony, the shock is beautiful and exactly as described... and after careful re-examination... exactly what I was looking for.

Oh no, this is going to go straight to the mutation's head ;)

Seriously though, that's the kind of service a lot of our sponsors here give.

I wonder how the phone/internet sales of the shops like Liberty, Appleton, Stone Mtn,
Cycle Connection, Hal's etc.. stack up against the average Buell dealership?

It has to be a staggering difference. The reason is because of service like you describe.

Anthony, take a bow you deserve it : )

Customer service is important, but so is an honest customer! Nice to know we have some really good sponsors here that we can count on for quality service.

Ant's a good man. Not too slow on a Buell either.... Did you see his feature article in Fuel last issue?

I also need to add:

He sent me the shock fast... so fast he didn't even wait for the check I sent him to clear the bank. I'm sitting here with the shock in my hands, and the money is still in my bank account.

If he rides as fast as he sent me the shock, I'd put money on him to win, place, or show in his next race.

I'll tell you a secret . . . TOP NOTCH SERVICE . . . is typical Anthony. . . the guy is amazing, ditto the staff and management at Liberty.

Take a look at this picture (Photo Credit Wendy Mellinger) and you'll understand why the service was FAST.

Anthony

Guess what? ? Everything the Mutant does is fast!

Anthony is the blood drive this Saturday. If it is count me in. Anthony, Ryan and Liberty not only support the Buell community; but also the local one as well. In the past they've given a gift certificate for every blood donation. After the donation I like to replace my red blood cells at a brew pub called JJ Bittings in the next town. They brew their own beer and have great food.

YES the blood drive is this Saturday, from 1pm to 4pm! We have about 15 people already signed up, but we'd LOVE to keep our streak of meeting or exceeding our goal, which, they kinda give us.

We will be giving a gift certificate for donations again, good in the store for anything, and you'll probably score the standard cookie. Why would you want to miss that?

BTW We go to JJ Bittings all the time too! Well, less since the new baby, but it's a REALLY nice place. Not like, snooty-nice, but it's a great bar and they have the giant beer vats right in the dining room! It's pretty cool.

So if anyone's interested in giving blood and wants to get an appointment, please call P.K. at 732-381-2400, 34. Or just head on down this Saturday.
