Let me start by saying, I have been a very good boy this year. My opinion, not nessarly the opinion of me wife. But don't listen to her. So anyways I would like a new bike for Christmas.  Its the only way I will ever be able to get a new bike is if you give me one for X-mas,Santa Buell. New bikes is not in the financial realm of posabilities for the forseeable future/a very long time, morg, car-pmts, c-card, ins's, taxs ect. ect. Blue collar and slowly drowning. NO NEW BIKES.  If only there was a way to win a new bike? There is? Alast that ain't gona happen either. I've no clue nor the talent for the photo-shop contest. But if I did I would do the TT in a patriototic theme. The fly screen would be an American Eagle head profile with a faint Old Glory(flag) flying in the breese ghosted into the background.Those two little plastic peices on the lower fork legs would also be Stars an Stripes baners. The air box cover? On a black back ground, sides would be a detailed typo-map of the great US of A., don't forget to ghost in an Eagle here too. Of coarse Buell would be done in Red, White, Blue, Star Spangled banner. The number plates? A mural of the purple mountains majesty,fruited planes,old forests,pristine lake,an Eagle in the clear blusest shy. See I told you I can't posably win this thing.  See why I now come to you, Santa Buell for a new bike? I'm not greedy or nutin, I don't come to you asking for an XBRR race bike though one would be nice. The new TT sure would be practical, but thats not nessary for you to go all out. A nice clean slightly used "03" XB9R would make me the happest of all. Perferably with the race kit and belt upgrade already installed?  Thank you Santa Buell. Your friend Danny. Ok so jest what is on you alls Buell wish lists?  | ||

A new (to me) seat and a starter gasket that doesn't leak. Not too much, as I probably wasn't good enough to get anything BIG. | ||

How about a new set of headlight housings for my XB12R, ones with REAL chrome finish, come on Erik, walk next door to Harley-Davidson, they know chrome. I found my first REAL cheesy parts when I opened the low beam to investigate why my light seemed to be getting dimmer, you already know what I found. S1, M2, XB9R, XB12R, first REAL cheesy parts. For shame.  | ||

Dear Santa, I want a new set of Metzeler Z6's and some front brake pads. Also an endless supply of Formula + and Syn3. A bigger tank for my air compressor. Those little dealys that cover the holes where my stock mirrors used to be. A waterproof GPS. A camera that deals better with vibration. Turbo/Nitrous or both. Hmmmm... thats about it, send that rabbit around and we'll talk Easter eggs. | ||

Dear Santa Buell aka The Great Ho: I'm back on two wheels after a year off and having a Blast, so I've got everything I need -- except for better suspension bits on Thumper. You could drop off a Blast for Danny H, however. I'm in the same boat and a used Blast is cheap fun. The 70 mpg I'm getting on my commute is good, too. |
