Neat contest but it's actually it's own model??? The only differences are seat, front fender and sideplates. The rest is just parts from the 9SX and really the front fender is just a Ully. I'm not sure how hard that would be to fit one of those onto a 12S. I think a more useful model would be a XB12RT; a 12R with an extended wind screen, 12Ss geometry, a comfortable riding position, 2-up seat and bags. Something more dedicated to sport-touring than the Ully. The Ully seems to be serving double duty as the dual-purpose and touring buell model. |

I'm with Not-Purple-S2, It might be a fun bike but not practical for me, I'm not urapeon, and don't have the inclination to drive like they do(at least not all the time) I'm not interested in a repli-racer, I think of the snowmobilers out there, biggest, baddest, fastest, fixin'ist, Egotists. I have to keep the Sporty around to carry the wife when she "HAS" to go, but the ideal new Buell for me would be the one that I could sell the Sporty for. So until the wife sprouts legs, or Buell comes up with a sport tourer, I'm going to have to wait. I deserve to only have to own one bike that can do it all!(Most) Start thinking like the great communist Henry Ford. A Buell for the masses! Good Luck Spidey, you got my vote whatever you turn out! |

Once again NOTHING for the Canadian Fans!!!! yup, and nothing comparable from Deeley. we dont get the euro Xb12Sx, we dont get the US TT contest, and we dont get much in the way of dealer feedback?!?!?!?! yo, Erik, look north: your bikes rock, and you've definitely got a following up here, but you've got to kick a little butt up here, and get the deeley guys in line! |

If you want to talk about the bike itself, please do so in one of the dozen threads about it. The point of this thread is to talk about the contest. Thank you, Not a site admin |

These contests to win a bike that require designing / customizing stuff are horse shit. What about all of us with no access to computer programs or people with no artistic ability? Doesn't seem fair. Good luck to all you graphic artists. |

holy crap, i've never seen so much bitching and moaning over a bike release... and now FREE contest. What about all of us with no access to computer programs or people with no artistic ability? uh, you don't enter? just a crazy guess on my part. or maybe you do find a way to get creative and enter... but you'll just moan it was rigged when the winner is drawn anyway so maybe save yourself the grief.

Blow it out your @ss. Personally, I wouldn't enter anyway. The bike is FUGLY. I do have the ability to enter this contest. I'm pointing out it doesn't make it easy for people with limited skills or access. Lighten up douche bag. |

No problem annoying one. I call them like I see them. With that, good luck with the contest whom ever is entering. Spidey, I still think it looks like a wood tick. Maybe you'll have a new one for Homecoming next year?! |

I agree with Rocco. Contests should be open and fair to everyone. Everyone that enters should have an equal chance to win. I can't draw, am not an artist and am not creative in that way. Not that I can enter anyway. |

I can't draw for 5h1t, and even if I could, nobody would pick my idea as a winner. Nevertheless, I hope somebody from this board wins it. I don't understand why so many people are badmouthing it. None of them have seen it in the metal, nor have they ridden one. Yet they're slamming it. Why not wait until you at least demo one before dumping all over it? This reeks of "Contempt prior to Investigation". |
