Everyone ahead of Capirossi was running q-tires. Loris calls them all "cheekeens." http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2006/Sep/060922d.htm

You guys shoulda seen Qualifying...Awesome. Rossi sandbagged and placed where he did on the last lap. I won't make the mistake of spoiling it though, go look it up for yourselves.

Can't wait for the race tonight!! 21 points separate 1st & 2nd! I only wish I didn't have to pay so much for this internet TV thing. Still, it's better than waiting until Tuesday afternoon and watching the replay on NascarTV

On the first row you have Capirossi, Rossi and Melandri. Ya gotta wonder what kind of season Capirossi might've had if he weren't taken out by his own teammate earlier in the season...

Capirossi once again dominates! Damn but Ducati has done something with their bikes this year to make them as awesome as they are! If Gibernau can ever find his stride again (when he was Rossi's biggest threat) then Ducati will be unstoppable. Wonder what next years displacement reduction will do to the grid? I'm betting Honda will come out strongest at first (give the devil their due) but Yamaha with Rossi & Burgess won't let them lead for long.
