Well the idea pop'ed up in the storm fronts for the Detroit Hooligans... and I thought It would be fun to know.

Everyone here pritty much knows Spiderman (A.K.A. Anthony BARCHOCK) in one form or another... and Hardcorps said we should all post how we meet this indiginous poster known only as the Spiderman.

I meet tony by choice... He was working @ American as their rental manager/Brag president at the time... When I purchased my X1 in 2002.. I wanted to join BRAG... so I called up American HD and asked for Anthony... He pointed me to the Badweb, and said since I work in Birmingham, I should meet up w/ them every wed. @ Hooters in Taylor.

So I meet up w/ the crew in Taylor... There was Brian, Joe, RUFFUS (Bill), Tony, and one missing Jim... introduced to me as "The gay Friend" long story and he is not gay by the by.. although for the first 2-3 months I thought he was.

I soon there after became the VP of the Brag club... I think by just the fact that Tony put my name down.. and that be that.

Spidy is now one of my very good friends and I know that he is one of the few people in this world that would drop everythign to help anyone out... so Cheers Tony... this Strohs is for you

I was very frustrated with the local dealerships service. I had posted this on here and spidey popped on and told me to bring the bike to him. I met him a little later at a street bike challenge and he has been working on my bike when I dont know what to do since then. I agree with blackbelt, Spidey will drop what he has goin on to help out any bueller. Its been great riding with you guys these last couple years. Cant wait to go riding again.

He was working at the Harley dealer in Taylor when I brought my first bike. He invited me on a mid-michigan ride where I met the Brag club
I hang out with.

Anthony's a Good Man.

(That's why I suggested nominating him "Bueller Of The Year")

I won't doubt his word ever again.

You spelled my name wrong, you jackass! ; )

...my house and traveling for work, along with no longer having a roommate that rides has seriously hampered my two-wheel time overt the past couple years. >.<

Stroh's...oy. Never could get that guy to drink good beer. =D

I met Spidey at Motown HD (now Billy Bob's or some stupid shit like that) when I bought my Blast back in 2001. Went on a few rides together with the Motor City crew out in the Pinckney area and when I bought my house he moved in as my roommate for a couple years and was kind enough to answer my questions as I got more involved in doing my own work on my (now two) bikes.

I met Spidey through here.

While going to the 20th Anniversary I stayed at their place in Detroit.

Tony is a great guy, just with he could have made it over this way last summer with the rest of the crew.

I know for a fact he enjoyed a good drink of "Screech"

Spidey is the reason that I am now addicted to Buells.
He was working at American HD in Ann Arbor, and I thought for sure that I was going to buy a Honda Davidson (v-rod). Any ways he tells me take this out a 2004 XB 12s, keep in mind this is the same day or day after I test rode a v-rod, I came back smiling ear to ear, then he pretty much tells me all the cool things about buell, and tells me to visit Badweb, and a couple other Buell websites.

It took me almost two years to buy my bike a SS, and after only 1,000 miles I started to have problems, and here is this man that maybe only met me twice before invites me to his house, and tells me what is wrong with my bike. And we enjoyed a Stroh!!!!!!!!!

Thank you SPIDEY for your dedication and giving heart to these beloved contraptions!

First time I ever laid eyes on Spidy was at American HD Buell. It was before Christmas 2002? I didn't know who he was, but the Big Kid, Little Kid and I were looking at a used X-1 because it was the coolest bike in the store. I was fooling with some salesman about the bike and Spidey rides that thing around to the front of the store while I was sitting at the salesmans desk. Thank God the bike stalled and he couldn't get it restarted because it was the best sounding bike I ever heard...(except the XB lightening with the race kit)..... Maybe someday I can shake his hand or give him a hug or something.

Ops, the Little Kid has his own ID here and its me Swampy!!!.....Not the Little Kid

I just met him at homecoming. I was taking pics of his bike (for Thomas Mackay)and
he asked if I'd like him to pull it out of the line so I could get better shots of it.

He seem like a really good guy based on what I've seen here, and our brief meeting at
Appleton.

Same as Diablobrian, I just met Spidy at Homecoming. And he does seem like a really good guy, even if he is a little loud after several cocktails...

...of course, you have to be loud if you want to be heard over me after several cocktails!

Met him at a couple of Homecomings now, official ones and the unofficial ones. Was over in Detroit for work once and drove over to the dealership he worked at, walked in to say hello and realized I didn't know his real name, so I just pointed to his bike outside and asked where the owner of it was, got a real nice tour of the shop. I even got to see him give everyone a summersault demonstration at one BattleTrax down at Uke's one year, very clean tumble, very quick mechanical recovery of the bike in the parking lot later, bit slower recovery of his head from the tumble but it all turned out well in the end.

I met Spidy at this last Homecoming. I didn't get to spend much time with him, but he seems to be a good guy, despite his masochistic tendencies. I was helping load Brad's bike when he earned another Purple Heart. I still don't know exactly what happened. That bike's been friendly to me, and has never tried to bite. I suppose I can understand why a bike might be scared of Spidy, though.

The day I met Spidy was a fun day. I remember it well, it was August 22, 2003 at Ukes B-Trax event. We were in the same class and he was quite a character, he would run a lap and beat my time, then I would run and beat his time. That went on until that little slide out at the 360 right at the end of the track. Well I was pushing it also and went down myself. I'd like to say I did not want Spidy to be the only one to go down (brothers in arms) but when you ride the edge sometimes you fall.
Well it was nice to meet many enthusiast's of riding and especially on Buells.

Lou, that's because you have that special touch with "other women". Funny, you don't mind when THEY talk back to you. Am I missing something here? Not enough gravel in my voice? Plastic? Not aerodynamic enough? You don't seem to mind when the other woman backfires. When I backfire, you duck and cover. (Yeah, yeah...I know... I'd never pass California emissions)

Spidey's great. Gotta love that guy. But he took a hard lesson in sticking his fingers into strange "women". Some "women" bite back, Spidey. How's the digit, by the way?
