well it sounds like i might be going to dubuque for the weekend and then swinging up to chicago for the show. just wondered who all was going to make it. not sure what day im going yet probably saturday but does anyone know if the XBRR is going to be there or not yet? i have never heard an answer. | ||

i'll probably swing by sunday afternoon (right before they're packing up) to see if i can get a deal on some racing leathers  have a college friend in town, so doing some touristy things in chicago and milwaukee, but will definitely get to the show. will be really nice to be a spectator so i can wander and linger to my heart's content! Went last night. To me, it was a waste of time. Smaller, vendors that were there had bottom end gear and not much of it. Cheap helmets. Everything was small or medium. But if you are into chromed out Busa's or choppers, it's for you! | ||

Went last night...I have gone for the last 3 years and I thought it was lame compared to the last 2... Less vendors...The Buell display was cool of course!! Got my free T-shirt!! Took a few other pix too!! | ||

well, just got back(2 hours ago) from the show. I didnt think it was too bad. Although, it was my first time at an IMS. Buell setup was the best i thought, especially with the "Lean" display. Id like to see someone hold that up while not moving!!!  I didnt get to see the dirt bike stunt show, but i did see a guy drop a Moto Guzzi!! haha, no damage exept his ego! The thing i hated the most was lack of manufacture apperal.. I wanted to pick up a few Buell T-shirts and hopefully the Vanson/Buell leather jacket i thought would be there....NOPE>> O well, not a bad show, but could have been better. BTW, the Billy Lane autograph line was INSANE. Looked like the line to the Dragster at Cedar Point! | ||

well obviously i had to do the lean display. makes me realize just how far over i am when the peg drags, since its like 5 inches from the ground yet at this angle.  |
