fyi. I was buying a buell (minus motor) from a fellow in Marietta Ohio, off of ebay. He was keeping it in his garage till the trucker was to arrive. Knowing my trucker was arriving shortly he brought it over and sat it on his porch for pickup. Apparently it was stolen. Keep your eyes open for any m2 parts on ebay, especially one with yellow bodywork, forks, etc. from an m2...thanks, REX buellv@aol.com

Serial number for it was 4MZKS11JSX3301240

actually, it's on him to recover it and/or any monies exchanged.
if he doesn't report it, and he still holds paperwork/$, he likely rethought the whole deal.
follow him up aggressively.
'stolen off the porch'
shame on him.

That really sounds like a BS story to me.

But who would steal a non-rolling frame with no engine?

At least it has numbers on it, right?

I call BS...that story sounds wrong. Not by you, but by the Ebayer...something ain't clicking.

But come to think of it I would swear I saw a bunch of yellow bodywork on there not too long ago...I don't recall what it was off though.

The yellow bodywork on ebay was from Southern California, I bought it in late December.

No serial numbers on it, but the guy had a bunch of parts listed, just like you describe.
