Thanks to Dave at Appleton HD/Buell I got all the parts to put the Uly handguards on my M2 a few days ago. Installation was bolt on, and took less than half an hour. I had a chance to try it today in 50 degree weather and found that I was comfortable with lightly insulated gloves- before at this temperature I'd be wearing the heavily insulated Gerbings and plugging them in if it got much colder. Also notable was a bit less buffetting and less air trying to sneak up the sleeve of my 'stitch.

In conclusion, these handguards work even better than BMW's GS ones. The GS handguards have been a popular upgrade on a lot of non GS BMWs (BMW must think the GS riders are crashing a whole lot...). The Ulysses handguards are even better and I highly reccommend them for other Buell models. They may also fit some of the Ducks and Guzzis that share the Buell brake and clutch lever assemblies.

Without the hand guards, 50 degrees would have my hands dangerously sluggish after 20 or so miles of riding. They were usable, but I hate the first half of a panic stop to be a slow motion reach for that lever...

With the handguards on the 9sx, I ride down to freezing now with just my normal puck thin leather gloves.

It's amazing how much wind protection this little naked bike actually has.

Here is mine. Traded my stock bars for them, made a mold of the OEM ones and made some CF ones.

I've got them on the store as a turn key kit, see http://www.americansportbike.com/shop/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F143619&rnd=53540 88&rrc=N&affl=&cip=69.160.135.44&act=&aff=&pg=prod&ref=17111&cat=&catstr=

Comes with all the parts to convert any Buell this side of an S2 to the city-X/Uly setup. I have several in stock.

Me, I took them off my Ulysses, but I live in Southern California where it doesn't get particularly cold and rarely rains. I might think differently if I live somewhere else.
