Hi, Everyone. I've got an '02 Blast & when I was moving from one state to another, we had some vehicle problems & had to leave one of our trailers (with my bike in it) in storage. When my best friend went back to retrieve it, somehow, mysteriously something happened to my bike. He told me the shift lever/pedal was broken. He'd fixed it temporarily but told me that it was just a temporary fix & I'd have to fix it before riding it.

Turns out it wasn't the lever itself that broke, but the shaft it attaches to. What is involved with replacing that (and does anyone know what that part is called?) I looked in the service manual & that's the one thing I can't find anything about... (I've looked it over so many times I could probably take the primary cover off in my sleep by now!)
