I have a 1999 m2. I am led to believe that later models have a timing light built in to the ignition sender unit (the part that lives in the timing cover), If so is it possible to fit a later sender on to my bike and what years will do the job.
I have searched KV with no success.
thanks sportycraig

Use a timing light. Sportster sending units like the Drag Specialties part will work fine with your ECM. You only have to set the timing once; what do you want an LED for?
