Well, here I am again, with a broken voltage regulator on my bike. This time I had to push the thing a half mile before I got a ride from someone in their truck.

So I pose the question: Where can I find a VR that won't shit out on me on the freeway?

PS: I have an 09 XB9SX and replaced the VR about 3K miles ago

Think about why they fail. Got corrosion on your battery ground cable? Was the installation done with good wire terminations and no chance for the current to short to ground? Ever check your stator AC output? My Drag Specialties Sportster VR has worked for three years now.

Hi Andrew,
Check out the Cycle Electric Inc website and browse their products.
