there was someone on here, can't remember who that machined their front sprocket and rotor with more weight loss than an aluminum front sprocket that is sold by a company whose name also escapes me,have been thinking for some time next time i am in the primary to drill a few holes into the front sprocket to lighten it up a bit. |

Wonder how it would wear? Aluminum sprockets on dirt bikes are good for racing where they get replaced frequently, but wear very quickly and shed teeth pretty regularly... even on a 35HP KDX-200. |

trojan had a kit with front sprocket and chain that was said to be 750g lighter than stock and it could have been baker and/or rrc? that had a hard anodised front sprocket for sale? a search should bring up the machined front sprocket and rotor which was said to improve spin up,pics showed the sprocket machined from the inside edge and holes around the rotor which was said to give more weight loss combined than the aluminum front sprocket. |
