Does anyone know how much newer a complete clutch assembly (basket, hub, etc) will fit a 2001 M2?
For example, will a complete clutch assembly from a 2004 XB bolt in?
P/N for the 2001 parts are
Hub: 36785-91b
Basket: 36790-91

Old question never answered. Now I have the same exact question. Anybody done this, tried this, know the answer, willing to speculate on the answer?
Thanks!

Speculate? Maybe. The early XB and the M2 share the same transmission main shaft, per the parts book. All the XB specific parts are xxxxx-02 so I'm thinking if you had the complete clutch assembly, it may fit. It is an entirely different unit with the cush drive stuff.
