ok so my fork was leaking so i went to manchester harley/Buell and got two new seals and two pints of fork oil. now i want to tackle this problem but i'm a little hesitant because i have never changed seals before. can anyone give me some tips?

what i mean is that some of it is not necessarily intuitive, so the procedures in the manual can be worth far more than the money spent or time waited for the arrival of the manual. you may be able to download a copy somewhere in the knowledge vault. also the knowledge vault has lots of info ready to be searched. sometime someone will have done what you want to do...and will document their procedures,often with pix.
either or both very good if you haven't done that yet. there is always that "as long as i'm in there......."
