I have an 03' xb9s with stock exhaust and was looking into the Micron Exhaust. What will this do for my bike's performance?

Best way is to look at the exhaust shootout on American Sport Bike. You'll need to get a map for it, and American Sport Bike can probably help with that as well.

I had a Micron on my XB12 and loved it. More than 10% increase in HP. Linear HP curve. Low torque. 10% better fuel consumption. Made the bike more forgiving in any gear, and really responsive everywhere.

The EPA suggested that I might want to be a bit quieter, which is the only reason I don't have it today. I don't think it is is louder than most of the other performance systems.

Find & read an exhaust system comparison written-up by Al Lighton.
Its in here somewhere, I think.

Alone, Micron exhaust system will only make the machine a little lighter; engine may perform worse.
It's bound to sound faster though : )

Micron system includes exhaust pipes as well as muffler; so it's "hungry" for re-tuning the ECM 'maps' to fit the Micron-change.
Then, you'll have engine performance gains.

Read that comparison, lots of data & good analysis.
