I just installed beautiful ceramic coated headers and while I was warming up the engine, accidentally touched a rag against the pipe and it smeared brown and won't wipe off. What does anyone use to clean and/or polish coated headers? HELP! I'm ANAL! They were perfect! AHHHHHHHHHHH!

Kedo, I did the same thing w/ my coat. The Jet Hot coating is pretty tough. I think I used some polishing compound to get the "burn" off. It didn't hurt the coating at all.

Thanks - I also checked the knowledge vault and somebody referred to a company called HCP who has maintenance kits. But to save money - polishing compound, chrome polish, stuff like that works and LOTS of elbow grease. The stuff is VERY HARD. I hate the stains. Here's their info:
