That's what I found,when I opened the primary.
After electrical break down yesterday,I ohmed more than 4 Ohm between pins on alternator plug, voltage output was zero.
How can both cables loose the insulation after only 30K kilometers?Never moved that cable or the alternator.

At 45K kilometers (28K miles) I had the same deterioration of the wire insulator that caused stator failure.

This is an area that definitely needs to be improved.

what type of primary/trans oil was used on both the bikes?
