Could someone please help? I bought a 2000 X1 lightening and I need to replace the bulb for the high beam indicator, but I can not figure out how to get at the bulb in the wiring harness. I tried looking in the service manual but did not have any luck there. Any help would be great. Thank You!!!

Pull the dash, flip it over and remove the bulb from the back of the indicator strip.

I pulled the dash and removed the strip from the back. Do the rubber boots pull out or do I have to remove them from inside the strip? I am new to the X1 and am thankful for any help.
