Ok, someone please lay this out in laymans terms for me.

I have a 2003 XB9R. I want to upgrade to the new bulletproof 2006 belt. I purchased the parts from my sponsoring dealer. This is what I have:

30T front sprocket (40343-02)
Diamond highlight rear sprocket (40020-03Y)
2006 belt (Dont have p/n)
2004-up polished guards
Chrome rear sprocket bolts

Do I have the right parts? Do I need anything else?

indy you might check a few of the high performance XB specialist sites. I know I was reading last night about the '06 belt upgrade and they had the conversion and everything. I'll see if I can't find it again.

You still need the idler pulley and bracket that matches the new belt.

What bracket is that exactly? The big thing I'm worried about is the front sprocket. I think they got me the wrong one.

Pete,
That is the wrong front sprocket. The right one for the new belt is a 27 tooth sprocket. The tooth pitch is 11mm on the old front sprocket, but is 14mm on the new front sprocket. And you do need the idler. I have the part numbers at work, but I'm typing this from home, so I can't give them to you. But your dealership just needs to look at the parts schematic for any 04 or later.
