I lent another Bueller the bolt, spacer and nut that holds the exhaust to the new-style "Y" exhaust mount. Anyone know part#s so I can buy replacements?

Thanks,
Josh

Thanks José
Note to self :
Also get p/n 65947-96ya to tie the header to the front shock mount like the pre-99s

I have an issue hopefully someone on the board can help me with. I have a 2000 M2 with a bad isolator on the exhaust mount. Initially, they were going to repair under the extended warranty. But, the folks at HD extended warranty balked and didn't cover it (reasonable since they don't cover the exhaust system). About $91 for the parts and $40 for the labor. I realize the exhaust mount goodwill program stopped around July of 2002, but do you think Buell would do a reimbursement of all or part of this expense since they know the design is flawed? Appreciate any help since I'm calling them on Monday for some help.

Tony; if you're referring to the front Y-shaped hanger update, awhile back some dealers were still willing to run it as a warranty claim.

As for the labor - if you have any tools at all, I'd say do it yourself. A big part of exhaust parts failure is due to improper installation. For $40 I don't know how much disassembly you're buying.

Somewhere in the KV there are instructions for proper installation and more importantly proper sequence of torqueing.

I've got a '99 M2 with a V&H slip on. I'm finally getting around to updating the front mount...the original owner never bothered and the local shop could never decide to replace it under "goodwill" program... Can anyone with a similar setup explain (pics would be nice) what you used as a spacer on the Y-mount to fill the gap around V&H bracket?
Thanks
Carl
