Does anybody know where to get PPG or Dupont paint codes for 2002 colors?

Volcano Grey and Orange. I tried the PPG codes for 2001. The Volcano grey is a decent match but Molton Orange was nowhere near my frame color. Can't remember the exact name they called the orange for 2002. I've painted enough cars and bikes to know it wasn't an air pressure or bad mix issue. It was just a different color!

BadS1, Yeah I figured they were powder coated from the factory, just thought it would be easier to squirt with paint. Thanks for the info on the powder coat company. I'm hoping I can purchase the correct color of powder from them. I have a powder coat system from Caswell that works pretty well.

If you are painting some of the parts with that orange frame color let me know. I have a few on my bike I would like orange and we may be able to split some costs.

Koz, I may wind up just buying the correct color of powder if I can. I have a home powder coat system and the wife's old range (we just bought new appliances) in my garage. Plan on experimenting as soon as this freaky weather straightens up. It was snowing here in southern IN last night! As soon as I'm done with my M2, I'll post some pics.

I'm in the process of freshening up my 1998 Spark Red S3T. I need to do some paintwork on the frame, but I'm not sure what the color is called. It appears to be a fairly dark grey. I saw the paint codes for Onyx Alloy or Billet. Does anyone know what the color of my frame is called? Thanks!

Steve

I need a volunteer to update the paint section with some updated/corrected information.

In addition, I have received valuable "intel" on painting that I'd like to have incorporated.

Volunteers?

Court,
I'll do it, just tell me what you want and I'll make it happen.
