Nothing to tell really.
I had a small low side two Summers ago that buggered up where the shifter bolts on.
I put the shifter bolt in the hole above the original, and shortened the adjuster to fit my foot.
I've been riding this way ever since.
A fellow 3%er looped his and scarred his primary case, he got a new one.
SilverBullet repaired that one and I'm going to replace mine with that.
Mine will be repaired and put on the Extra Parts Shelf in case someone else needs it. It's really nice to have such a large support group!
And yes, the Road Rage deal didn't help matters.
I'll let you know if the stock gasket is paper or not, when we replaced the looped one, I *think* the gasket was paper.

I hit some old back roads ended up at the old covered bridge 'Black shoals park' in Rockdale County. Hope wed. is the same I'll be off at noon. SWEET!!!!

Oh yeah and one more thing.
I was looking at the png, and the Stone Mountain carving reminded me. I need three 3%ers to meet with me this weekend. I need a picture that looks as close to the carving as possible, so I can make our own carving in photoshop. I'm thinking that would make a good looking t-shirt/logo type thing.

A4TR: I looked at the Rizoma rearsets you found on Ebay..those are the old style, non-adjustable intended for the X1..would work on your bike, but wouldn't have the adjustments of the new ones.
