Oh yeah I can still ride and the Dr. even said I could.
OK what story should I tell of how I hurt it...
Ummm.. I was on the slopes skiing 120 down a double black diamond in pure powder out a bounds.
Yeah that's what I did- I remember now.
It's still attached and semi functional which is a good thing so I won't be needing your services thank goodness. It'll just be a couple weeks before I get bi-lateral movement back.

It's a pretty decent show, mostly the new bikes are on show.
The Sphere of Death is cool. I think they get 5 guys in a big globe riding all 'round.
And they have these guys on dirt bikes doin' some awesome tricks.
It's a fun time! Besides, how could you hang out with all us and keep a straight face? It can't be done! |

Well OK but only two, in a dark alley coming out the rear entrance to a venue after a great show. SO there!!! It was worth it- Yeah that's what happened and I'm sticking to it.

No Battle just thought the pic fitting for the week of the Cheetah assault.
*Disclaimer- If anyone is offended or cannot handle the avatar please let me know and I will remove it. Knowing most of the hooligans on this particular board I don't think it will but just in case.
Like I said I was on the back of a snowmobile going about 80 near the continental divide when we hit a drift and went flying, I had landed on my feet but my ankle wasn't quite steady on the snow and slid out.

Thanks Silverbullet, I was just going to stop by the dealership. I would have been surprised, surprised, surprised.
Question: Is it worth going to the '04 drive belt system? (belt, gears, and guards) I don't like the look of my belt. It's time for me to have one on hand just in case... Might even just change it when it's time for new tires. |

Fran, I've went through 2 belts within about 5000 miles (not exactly sure, but it wasn't much), then they came out with the upgraded Gates Belt.
I'm now over 30thousand (Yeah Baby!) and no belt issues since the new upgraded belt.
I'd like to go with the newer belt system, mainly because they look so much better, and you don't have all that plastic around the whole thing.
So, if you're doin' it because you're worried about premature breakage, go ahead and change the belt with you tires, so you know you have the upgraded belt. If your worried about the looks, to me it's worth it, because you get the looks, AND long belt life. IMHO of course.
But I won't be worried about that just yet. My next upgrade will be the TFI. |

Thanks Glitch. The pipe and TFI are or were on the top of my list or maybe it's the belt first. I'll show you what I'm talking about with the belt Sunday. For now, I'm taking it easy, as if I ever ride all that hard anyway. |

No problem.
But if your belt is showing wear, replace it pronto. They give no warning. I was on I-85 in rush hour traffic when the first one broke. Not a good feeling.
Also, if you boost the bike's power (pipe and TFI) your belt will be stressed more.
Just some happy thoughts to help get you through your busy day... |

Yes I'm back! It was a crazy day. Thanks N12R for stopping by last night. Glitch I enjoyed our short trip. A4tr sorry about the ankle. So you were on back seat. Sounds like driver error. Maybe you should have been driven. No pain!No gain!. At least you can ride! Ride safe! By the way 'The key factor that sold me the 12R was the black frame' thats what I wanted on the 9R but the cost was to much. I already miss the higher revs. from the 9R. If they had a 2005 white 9R with a black frame it would be mine! Hope you heel fast! |
