Crazy stuff today.
My rain gauge has 6-3/8" in it.
My house, Dan's house and the shop are all safe.
A lot of bridges are going to need work after this storm...

Zack, you guys got way more than we did. We did have a lot of flooding yesterday until noon. I saw(on Facebook) where Dan closed the shop yesterday.
I'm flying out to Tennessee tomorrow. They've had rain like this most every week this spring and summer. Hopefully it won't be too gray while I'm there and maybe the fall colors will be popping out.
Keep your life preserver handy!

It ain't over yet.
I emptied the rain gauge on Saturday the 14th. 6-7/8"
Saturday was beautiful.
Sunday it rained ALL day. another 3-1/2"!!
10+" for the week.
Today we had a strong cell roll thru again.
I wonder if this means a lot of snow.....

Glad to hear your home and place of work are safe, Zack. Most of the moisture in the atmosphere was pumped up by two large storms in southern Mexico. They have pretty much dissolved and we should get back to our normal dry climate. I'm sure enjoying the cooler temperatures. Why don't you plan a weekend to ride down this way? Most of the canyon roads in your area were washed out, weren't they? |

I was unaware of the storms in Mexico but checked the RAMSDIS and saw heavy water vapor from Gulfs of Calif. and Mexico.
I told Lawana on Monday we were gonna get slammed, maybe 1 or 2 inches...
I like that idea Jody.
I will try to make it happen.
Gotta find out where I stand as far as hunting companions.
The friend I was going with died a week after we filed for tags.
I drew a cow tag on several areas up the Poudre.
May not even be able to get to those areas after The Flood...

Hi Colorado Buellers,
Been riding since '08, riding a Buell XB9SX since about May. This is my first bike with TORQUE, and I like it. I love trackdays and have worked with the MRA since '09. My other bike is a track Ninja 250.
Just joined the forum and am excited to share in good discussion. I'm based out of Broomfield.
I've seen a few Buells around town. If you see me, wave. |

There are lots of Buells on the roads out here.

Don't forget SpringFast is coming up this May, on Memorial day weekend. Because it's a holiday weekend, the lodge is getting a lot of requests.
We still have 5 rooms set aside that have not been reserved yet. If you are planning on going, get your reservation in soon.
They will probably pull the unreserved rooms by the end of the month because there is so much demand.

Yuppity Yup, Lake City was really fun, weather was hot coming home, and the traffic sucked in parts,,,
Don`t get me and Scotty started about the Harleys with the 20 cars stuck behind them,,,
We have the Taos Buell Rally coming up Aug 22-23-24,
We`ll be staying at the Sagebrush Inn, their # 1-800-428-3626
I`m sure we`ll be talking about Saturday ride routes at our next get together in Morrison next Sunday.
We`ll come up with something good I know.
Give us all a holler and let us know if you`re interested in going,
We can hook up for a group ride, or just meet up with you there ,
