Mobbers, wanna be Mobbers, and lurkers... LISTEN UP!

I stopped by MidAmerica PowerSports Plus Saturday and thanked the owner for the tire donation of the last raffle. He actually apologized for not being at the meeting for the drawing. He had gotten mixed up as to when the meeting was, and did not realize he missed the meeting until Scott showed up with his wheel to have the tire mounted. No doubt there will be the second tire raffled this Thursday, and I suspect he will be at the meeting. He also said that he would try to continue to donate things for the BRAG club to raffle at further meetings.

Just in case he fails to bring this up at the meeting, we need to remember to ask about his "grand opening" August 7th. He has had to delay it a number of times due to the missing dyno! He plans specials on a dyno run, pocket bike drags in his parking lot, T-Rex rides, and other stuff. The money raised in the dyno runs, pocket drags and T-Rex rides will be donated to a charity... Sorry I forget which one he said. ANYWAY... let's be sure he brings us up to speed about that stuff at the meeting in case he doesn't bring it up.

It sounds like he is also doing stuff for the HOMES (if I spelled that club name correctly??? sorry if not) group too.

Let's all try to make the BRAG meeting Thursday, and I hope some new faces show up. Come to a meeting and consider becoming a BRAG member if you are not at this time. Member or not, raffle tickets for the tire are 5 bucks. ALL the money from raffle ticket sales goes to our BRAG club. Come buy tickets, meet more Bullers... maybe win a tire, and meet great people.

Derek,
Be careful, all us squids get roadrash from those little things!! especially when wearing saddles, hawaiian shirts and shorts. don't ask! my guess is it only takes about 2 minutes of riding to perform this task.

Dennis nope ready to rock bought it new its an '04. Also I ordered in the master cylinder rebuild kit staurday and I think I have the caliper ready to go for the 550. The guy is supposed to be calling me to pick up the used exhaust I bought also. I should have what I need to get that 550 running just need to come over and get crackin on it and put in some work to get it done..

Digger, nah hahaha I actually made it about 3 1/2 hours of riding before eating dirt!! : D who the hell said stoppies were easy?! The last ride of the day yesterday my buddy went down hard and bent the bars.. I think I will be upgrading to the adult bars sooner then I thought but damn its fun!!

P.S. this is all Sam's fault..

Derek...

As of now... Scott and I have no plans for this weekend... so the "Honda Project" can be put on the agenda!

Don't bring the little stunt scooter though, or Scott won't learn a thing, and we will be chasing him down or hoping he runs out of gas!!!

; )

ALSO... if you can't catch up with Jeff before the meeting, swing by and drop off the cash, and I will buy the tickets for you since I should make the meeting.

I need Help!! I'm installing a new rear shock on my 99 X1. How do I know if the recall was done or not?? I got the shock from the Frankster and he gave me a "pre-recall" front mount. He said I would need the original mount and he gave it to me. I've got the old shock off and the front mount looks identical to the one he gave me. I really don't want to pull it off for no reason as it looks like quite a bit of work. How do I know the difference?

My wife has a tendancy to hog the computer so please call me at (660)563-5817 till midnight

Should I put it together and take it in and insist the recall be done as they told me it was??

re: raffle of the second tire donated by MidAmerica PowerSports Plus.

Due to the poor turn out for this months BRAG meeting, the raffle was NOT conducted. Lots of busy people this month apparently. So... we will try again at the August BRAG meeting. So you that could not make the meeting still have a chance at a new tire for your tuber!!! Hope to see a crowd at the next meeting!!! Bring your 5 dollar bills... and help the club and maybe leave with a tire!!!
